It pans and tilts, but what about adjusting for level. You can level with the tripod legs, but the level is off if you pan.

I bought this tripod a few months ago. The second time I used it, one of the legs fell off while I was opening it. I don’t recommend it.

I went back to digiDIRECT in Sydney, and they sent the tripod to the manufacturer. One month later, they returned it with visible superglue on the leg. Then, while opening the tripod in front of the salesperson, another leg fell off.

I look at compatible cameras, mine (Canon Rebel Eos SL3) is not listed. Would the mount still work for astrophotography?

It will work for tracking, but will not be able to trigger image capture or change camera settings. Additionally, live view is not supported with Canon while using the app to use live view (either live view on the camera or live view in the app). Hope this helps!

That MinBird sounds very promissing for lightweight hiking. Can you provide the weight for just the tripod without the ballhead? ... and the weight without the ballhead and the long end of the center colume detached? That would be an important information for juging its use for ultralight hiking. I hope this tripod is available in Germany soon. Benro-Germany says it will be available in the beginning of 2025 - I am quite impationed and would like to add this to my kit any moment, to be honest. And I am very interested in the TableBird as well. That could be a very minimalistic option.

In order to remove or attach the gimbal head from the tripod just make sure the pan knob is fully locked and you can just twist it off the top of the tripod. Hope that answers your question!

I want to know the minimum and maximum weight that this S6 Pro head can comfortably counter balance. Can it counter balance a 500 gram set up and a 5000 gram set up ??

Interesting. But no need of this. Still waiting from Benro for my Theta Max for what still seems to be months or years before actual delivery.. Maybe Benro should internally stop to test this to sleep and start to work on the real production of Theta Max.

The added benefit of balancing it is safety! If the tilt accidentally comes unlocked the camera won't tilt over really fast which is.... scary... for your camera!

What is confusing everyone is that there are two different holders a FH100M2 and a FH100M2B. The FH100M2B is the one that is compatible with the Benro MACPL95 Polarizer and the FH100M2 is compatible with the Benro MACPL82 Polarizer

Totaly not the kind of monopod you need. There once was a Manfrotto with a grip you could change hight in a split of a second. This is just another one, totally overpriced.

I bought an S4 head but the panning is hard, the tilt is fluid, I don't know why that is... The panning is hard and that causes the 3 legs of my monopod to unscrew when using it for a while

On paper this looks like a great tripod, however there are multiple concerning reviews of the glue around the leg flip locks failing and the legs are falling out. Has your team fixed this issue?

It is! Removing the ball head from the tripod will expose a 3/8-16th screw. The GH2N can mount directly to this screw.

Not a new idea, Novoflex have been making the Magic Ball head for many years, a much better product.

You're right, not a totally new idea. However, the FS30 ballhead is about a third of the price of the novoflex mini magicball. While it holds a little less weight, we think the price makes it a great option for traveling with a modest kit! Not to mention the FS30 comes with an arca plate and clamp system so it's faster to switch cameras and it has top panning right below the plate.

Last year I saw the Theta and Theta Max for preorder on some shop sites but I have not seen any marketing material from Benro recently so I don’t know what the project status is beyond what little is shared on the KickStarter campaign page. With all the production delays Benro is no longer first to market with an auto levelling tripod and many backers have lost confidence in the product, and even in the company. I think that Benro needs to seriously address this. Not yet seeing any new marketing material from Benro for Theta and Tetha Max makes me wonder what time scale might be for introduction to the general market. In my opinion, Benro needs to address this publicly and not one on one with individual customers like me.

Thanks, this is great feedback! We'll certainly do better at more clearly communicating the benefits of our products in future videos. Is there anything else you'd like us to cover about our tripods that we haven't? For this ballhead specifically, we find the size and simplicity are really great for travel because there's not much to think about and it's simple to use. For the size (and the price), the inverted ballhead can hold quite a bit of weight. It's a great deal for traveling with an on the go camera kit like the Fuji mirrorless cameras, even something like a Canon R5 or Sony A7 with a prime lens would be right at home on it.
