Great “get,” JD! I expect government to use the CTA database the same way they used the tax code against Capone. There are scammers who hide behind corporate entities and then disappear. Now, they’ll either be uncovered, or popped up front for not self-identifying. The CTA stuff isn’t hard, once you sit down with it; but it’s scary to think about taking responsibility for keeping a third party in compliance. Let’s say a company manager or a minority owner buys a new house. That needs to be updated promptly. There are so many things that can happen on an irregular schedule, and it’s not just a matter of updating a driver license scan when it expires.

Would not work with Alvin Cavalier again. Don’t suggest anyone do as well. I paid Alvin Cavalier aka Coach Cav $25,808 to secure an apartment, furnish, photo sit and list it on both AirBnB and Peerspace and manage it. He did none of it. No photos, no furniture, no listing. I don’t even have the apartment and I called apartment building and they told me he didn’t use the money to even pay the deposit or anything for the apartment. He said the lease I signed to get the apartment didn’t matter and was for administrative purposes only. I’ve reported him for fraud to federal agencies stay far away from Alvin Cavalier and save your money. The apartment said I’m not the only one he’s scammed. Alvin told me he can’t pay me back because he closed his business down because of financial issues. He’s not an authority in this space.
