My K1 max did not see any improvement whe changing this setting. I may have to try some other stuff to improve it's quality. I have short showing the video on my channel that I tagged you.

What a way we've came in hotends especially affordable for hobbyist .. not so long ago we were using Water pressure washer nozzles modified to print nylon brush cutter wire.

Thank you for the information. I learned some things and defintely want to try the outer walls first! I want to offer some constructive feedback, and I hope it comes across as helpful rather than critical. I understand that English isn’t your first language, but your speaking style is similar to how some American KZbinrs speak. It has a monotone, pendulum-like rhythm, where sentences start at a normal tone, then drop low, rise slightly, and end low again. This repetitive up-and-down cadence can sound droning and, unfortunately, risks making your delivery seem bored or disengaged. This might cause your audience to lose interest, feel distracted, or even click away from your content. I’m not trying to be harsh, just offering some observations that might help you. This cadence is something I’ve noticed with other creators, including some MMA and hobby KZbinrs I try to watch, so you’re not alone in this. Of course, it’s entirely up to you whether you want to take this advice or not. I just wanted to share some honest feedback in case it’s useful to you. Best of luck with your content & thanks again.

Did you contact E3D? Any chance this roughness was an issue with that specific nozzle only?

very surprised they can't smooth the diamond interior somehow. Polish inside and the hole walls, also not sure why you'd want a flat disc at inside bottom of the nozzle, why not just have it smooth wall all the way down to hole?

So if you want to print using 2 walls instead of 3, the Wall Ordering as Outer/Inner gets the best quality?

The problem is that PTFE coatings are incredibly fragile. If you're willing to replace the lead screw every couple of years then it may be a good solution, but I'll pass.

You could quickly reduce the temperature on filament swapping. It would reduce plastic waist and make the swap more reliable.

Side Note: A shorter meltzone will lead to a more controlled extrusion. Prints will come out quite more beautiful. Ive tested this with the old Generation of printers at 30mm/s for Walls and 60 mm/s for Infill. Cant say if its the same for high-Speed printers though.

I would be extremely interested in a video measuring the layer strength between a traditional hotend and the Bambu Xobsidian high flow hot end with more specialized materials. The data from this video blew me away. I have the .6mm and I am excited to print stronger parts faster. The print profiles don't seem the best for .6mm though... Thanks for the video.

Glad i'm not going crazy. Ordered myself a dozen of clone CHT nozzles. They were on my printers for roughly two minutes, because the first moment i loaded up filament and pushed through by hand, i could already tell they actually blocked the filament rather than melt it. I have no idea how some 3D gurus who tested these, were claiming they worked even better than the original CHT nozzles.

I think it's worth to pick a printer and then see how the results change when the flower component is made stiffer of floppier by changing line width -20%/+20%/+50%/+100%.

This could open up new possibilities for single hot-end multi-material printing. For example printing with PLA and using PETG for the support interface. Often this is hard due to lag in temp changes.

i rather wait 1 min longer than paying 500+ dollars for a hotend that underperforms. plus use petg as "zero gap support" you get cleanest layer in the world.
