Can you also use kettlebells for cleans and high pulls instead of barbell?🤔
@filipskeljoprof.ofkinesiol9575Ай бұрын
@@annaz9655 sure, you can do it with any kind of weight (dumbells, kettlebells, barbells), but the weight needs to be apropriate in regards of the strength levels of a certain athlete. And in my experience, kettlebells are more usefull when done with one hand (snatch, scissor snatch... ), while barbells are better when done with both hands simultaneously. Hope this helps ☺️

Looks good, but i would point out one Crucial mistake - joints hyperextension. Especially with weight.

thanks for the video! how much time should you train this before a tournament?
@filipskeljo3031 Жыл бұрын
Well it depends on the level of strength training of a given athlete. If it is an athlete who has a good level of strength he or she can do it 1-2 days before a tournament. If it is someone who doesn't do much strength training I would reccomend not doing it because the level of muscle inflamation will be high.

I love plyometrics, but I cannot imagine that is very good for the knees or spine!

Thanks for the comment. Evrything is good if planed well according to the sport and the tournament season and if a good foundation is built before attempting more advanced exercises. A good strength foundation is a must before attempting Olympic weightlifting exercises or explosive exercises as shown in the video.
