Buongiorno una domanda, perché dopo aver intonato il mi basso, se premo il 5 tasto (La) è alta l’intonazione, invece al 12 tasto è perfetta

how come these guitars need special extra material to be installed, should't these bending units be part of the guitar ?

It's still a poor lap steel so putting benders on it was a waste of $$ imo

Fender Super 250 strings (24-100) solved my intonation issue and tightened up the bottom end as well on my left handed Revelation RJT-60B LH. Great video, thanks.

If you had a strat copy Back in the 70's it was cheap and nasty, today a so called budget guitar is as good as the original .

Although may be costly, you could order Duesenberg pickups and install them on this lap steel. It does sound pretty good with the Gretch pickups.

uhh, that edge of breakup Strat sound at 5:36 is exactly what I'm here for, it's a very hard sound to make in a modeller

I have a Suhr Standard pro, fender strat MIA, and Gibson LP Standard. I will go with a Suhr anytime, its quality in the sound, built quality and it is a more versatile guitar than the other two. Unfortunately, the Gibson LP standard is perhaps the worse of the 3.

I have D'addarios on my Recording King Minnie Bucker currently. I want to put on Elixur mediums, to get a louder tone but I'm concerned it will put too much tension on the tuners. Do you thinnk it's okay?

13:08 What do you mean move the saddle closer? I think you mean further away because if the note is sharp you move the saddle back, not closer to the neck, you do that when it´s flat. FFF-Flat fret forward. Just a bit confused as to why you say closer..hmmm

I like playing Bluesy metal with a bit of a George Lynch bounce style on my badass 303 yamaha strat "tribute guitar" (I definitely will not call this creation a copy, it's way more than such. You Can't Copy Soul...and she's got soul.

I'm quite an old listener, as far as I'm aware that type of six string bass occasionally enabled the bassist to momentarily take the lead or rhythm part, there might have been a technical issue, a silly person onstage.......the kind of thing where you're "hoping the audience doesn't notice", or even, "hoping the non-musician audience doesn't notice it's a bass", stupid but they thought those things then.

With good strings it is amazing, a Woody sound between guitar and a banjo, the cone is very resonant. I personally like the fact it is not exotic wood because I prefer exotic woods when they are forest. Slide? Fingerpicking is as fine

Nice story. Nice road trip. And the guitar sounds great. You don't have to spend thousands of $ to get a decent sounding resonator.

I had both the Stella, and the Harmony in the early sixties. In 1969, just before I left for Veitnam,I bought a Harmony H-54 Rocket, tobacco sunburst And a H167 hollow body sunburst . And here it is all these years later and I still own and play my favorite guitars.

I too started on a Gretsch lap steel and eventually moved to pedal steel. I now have a home made bender on my lap steel which works great but it is nothing like pedal steel. Great video nonetheless!

Ever since I heard Brian Eno's Weightless I've been hot on playing pedal steel but the price is out of my league. Something like this will work for me.
