It worked perfect! I can hear myself so much better, even just boosting 7 db. Great tip - Thanks man!! And keep rocking...

Love seeing the SWR underneath the Kemper in your studio!

It’s a nice little bass cab but unfortunately it’s only being used as an amp stand these days.

If I have a Powerhead kemper and a kemper kabinet. Should I use the speaker output to the kabinet or should I follow what you say from 0:52 and connect through the monitor out?
@Kbald2 жыл бұрын
Hey man, now I haven't worked with the Powerhead but from what I can see in the manual the unpowered cabinets should be connected to the Speaker Out.
@iwillnevergetone52 жыл бұрын
if you have the Powered unit, do not connect the kemper kab to the red speaker out on the unit. the red speaker out is only for passive/unpowered units like traditional guitar cabs. when using a powered k. Kabinet, i believe they say to use the monitor output

I have a general question, can i use amplitube with kemper kabinet? Is there anyway to connect my audio interface to that?

So... If I'm going to use it with a Helix I'm technically fucked or I can get a good volume too?

Just got the Kemper Power Kab from Santa. I think it sounds great. I will try this tip. Thx.

At 1:20 you mention not going over the 200 watt limit to avoid damaging the speaker. I’m confused. Since the Power Kabinet has its own 200 watt amp, why is this an issue. I considered the toaster with the built in 600 watt amp and the non-powered Kabinet, but thought that getting the non-powered toaster with the powered Kabinet would be better and safer. I still have to watch the power output into the powered Kabinet? Huh?

Can the power cabinet power a boss gt1000, helix, or other multi effect pedals?

What year is your Les Paul that you are having feedback issues with, and does it have the stock Gibson pickups in it? Just asking b/c I have a 2022 ES-335 with stock "T-type" humbuckers and they are not wax potted. So that may be your issue as well.
@Kbald2 жыл бұрын
Hey Jason, it’s 2014, 120th anniversary Classic and the pickups are stock. I will look into it and see if that could be the issue. I haven’t had any feedback issues while playing through other amps but I’m sure there is a way around this. Thanks for the tip 👍

With one of these, can I run my Kemper Profiler rack by itself with it? as in I don't need a power amp as well? Also can a looper pedal be placed in between?
@Kbald2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can hook your rack Kemper to the power cab, no power amp neeed (the cab is powered). I personally wouldn’t put the looper between the rack and the cab but I’m sure you can. I would rather connect the looper via send/return and place it at the end of the signal chain.

That setting only works if your using the Kemper Kone feature,. I use custom IR's from Bogren Digital and turning on the Kemper Kone turns everything into a tin can sound.. But thank you for the update and the Kemper videos :)
@Kbald2 жыл бұрын
Hey man, thanks for the input. That's sounds a bit annoying. What power amp/cabinet are you playing through?

@@Kbald I'm using the powered Kemper kab
@boatfaceslim90052 жыл бұрын
@@nothing55rk Sounds like you still have the IR turned on. If you run a speaker simulation (IR) into a guitar cabinet (non Full Frequency Flat Response cab) then you'll get a speaker response x 2 = tin can. Turn off the IR on the monitor output OR run the output into a FRFR cab. Edit: You're in luck, apparently the Kemper Kone runs as a Flat response *if* you switch off the "monitor cab off" switch.

That's a microphonic pickup on your Les Paul - needs to be potted.
@Kbald2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tip. I played a gig with the LP a couple of weeks ago and through a Fender tube amp and had the same feedback issues. Will definitely look into this.
