I’ll never get over the fact that it happened. I fall down a 9/11 rabbithole once every 3-4 months, and I’ve done so every year for 23 years. To say it’s “my Roman Empire” is an understatement. I think about it so frequently. It’s crazy to think that young adults and teenagers today learn about it in history class. Living through it was the most surreal experience. I could listen to anyone’s 9/11 story - and I’m not just talking about New Yorkers who were there. If someone was a housewife in Ohio, or going to bed in Australia, I would listen to their 9/11 story with completely undivided attention.

Does anyone know what animated movie this is from?? I swear it’s in a movie like spirited away or something

I’m glad you mentioned the people that died from complications of being at Ground Zero. I think they should have a memorial for them too. They died because of this tragedy too, only a little bit later.
