Tony Anderson - Meadowlark

Meadowlark is my ambient interpretation of Fields of Green, which just released as a three song single. I put Meadowlark together at Elgise Saint Sulpice in Paris last fall - a cathedral I often visit to reflect and write. As one of my favorite acoustic spaces in the world, the reverberated textures in the song mirror what I was hearing inside of Saint Sulpice that day. I suppose the "meadowlark" is the vocal line that cuts through the wall of ambience. It's hard to explain what I experience when I listen to Meadowlark, but the longing inside of it is as deep as anything I've felt writing the album so far.

I'm surprised 'cause I haven't heard one of your songs for a loooong time (sorry, realised I hadn't activated the bell 😅) and what is amazing is that in 10 sec only listening ti this new one I recognised your universe and the sheltered heaven in my head it takes me to.
