If you are to live in a country that speaks a language different from yours, make it a priority to learn the language, culture, traditions, and customs of your host country. This will help you a great deal. CheerfulChichi, I guess your husband is Slovak. You must learn the language. You have an advantage in that you can always speak with him all the time. Please take your time to properly study the language.
