I have the original DVD (currently being borrowed by some friends) but if/when this 4K comes out on disk, I am buying! Just love this movie.

My guess is that the plot is about a hunter who killed Bambi’s mom and Bambi seeks revenge on the hunter who killed her.

He drove the Camino????? How disappointing. That's Hollywood for ya though. 😞 I did love the movie though. It is disappointing that Sheen is so commercial about this.

visually i loved this movie but dear lord it was so utterly impossible to feel any emotions for. i really really hope to see visuals like this again attached to a story that isn't just some weird french feminists mad hallucinations. it's a really terrible story or you'd hear way more about this bc it looks absolutely stunning and trust me it wouldn't take much more to get this noticed...instead it's overlooked bc its all style and no substance. just a batshit trash story. really bugs me i fell in love w the visuals immediately only for them to be wasted. i love art house stuff its not that, i just needed something you can at all attach to...i mean im fine w lynchian approach and stuff just this is way too up its own ass. skip, it's just pretentious drivel. whoever is behind these visuals please do something a little less absurd and surreal story wise...the visuals are trippy enough ffs. like say mandy, crazy visually but its a story people can fucking follow and care about not just french creep shit. or do more of this trash and be glossed over. i kinda hate the french. if youre gonna do silly surreal bullshit make it a short. its exhausting. find balance like lynch and others or just expect obscurity.

Unfortunately the old saying if you weren't there and did not see it at the time you never did or will feel it likely.. Like said younger kids ETC relate to this... But still give it go at watching..... It's the one that got away... Never awarded like it should of been and forgotten......😂😂😂 Still laugh when seeing scenes thought....

eh, some of the locations are breathtaking, and our Elf Queen is in his full beauty here. but it's not very feel good happy ending in an american sense, if you like european films you'll probably like this film too. it's not hollywood or bollywood bombastic extra fantastic, it's kinda artsy.

This scene for me was so terrifying. The fact that all u see is the cord being ripped away but the audio of tangles is the most messed up part. It’s literally sound like someone was being ripped apart, and strangled. It’s really messed up.

I shacked the directors hand when he came to the Netherlands to hold a lecture at the Dutch film festival. I told him it was one of my favourite films. That was somewhere in the nineties. Would love to see the film again.

The statement "you are at your very best when things are worst" is NOT profound - it is 100% pathetic. It is also 100% accurate. What a crying shame that we can't be at our very best ALL THE TIME. Even as a damn KID seeing this movie I knew this line was a complete indictment of the human trash.
