I pressed that button once, 99 C5 ( not mine ), saved it and calmly drove myself home at 40mph or so, and used the time to reflect on what I had done; I never did it again.

@yeetygonzalez584312 сағат бұрын
If your not revving it or running it hard and you just lug it around in low RPMs, then u will get decent MPG. Especially since they make so much power that it can lug itself around easier.
@Taffy9246 сағат бұрын
@yeetygonzalez5843 That's really impressive.
@yeetygonzalez58436 сағат бұрын
@Taffy924 it really is. And people think all V8s have terrible fuel economy and want them gone even though with modern technology you can have good gas mileage and power. Also the 10 speed transmission plays a huge factor because it can shift sooner in the RPM range because it has the extra gears. My dad's 5.0 with the ten speed gets better MPG than his old truck that had the ecoboost with the old 6 speed

Because you have extra oil? Everyone does that
@kova_motive3 күн бұрын
7.3s tend to leak a bit of oil. It’s just a joke…
@Nowayjose-z2rКүн бұрын
Because it burns oil and no they don't. You know many new cars you can't check the oil? LOL That google machine might save the foot in the mouth.
@loganbford9478Күн бұрын
@@Nowayjose-z2r never met anyone that doesn't have at least an extra quart of oil in their car. And I've never seen a car you can't check or add oil to. All older cars, trucks, or vans leak or burn oil my van does, it's not some cool unique thing to this truck

Great vids - appreciate - the SMART guy does what you just did - do a mod and then do a long term, mid-term results update - it was funny because I just watched your original vid then found this one - I suspected what you showed - oil buildup on the pcv valve side where filters exist - QUESTION: after doing the mod did you 1) have to do a re-learn on the the throttle body ? and 2) did you notice any improvement (or zero effect) after doing this mod? thanks

Work on thumbnails this year when it comes to your corvette videos, I can help with that if you want. Also try different editing styles. It'll help tons, I can help you with that as well if you want too lol. Used to watch you fix up the G and stayed subscribed since. You've come back from not uploading 3 times already haha
