Father Kelly, We as a church have made so many compromises to the Vatican. Can we deny that the Latin mass has drawn so many young families into the life blood of the parish. We need the Extraordinary form of the mass. It is so much more reverential than the Novus Ordo. And I cannot accept the Holy Eucharist in the hand. It is a complete desecration of the sacred dignity of the body and soul of Jesus Christ. I understand that somewhere in Canon Law or the Majesterium, there is a clause allowing for the parishioners to vote on whether or not to keep the Latin form of the mass. I would like to start a petition in our church to do just that. How do you feel about it? ✝️❤️✝️ Ave Maria

Aside from the audio acting up a bit, this was fantastic! You brought up many great points, especially honing in on how fasting calls to mind our dependence on God though unifying oneself to Christ. How food, though necessary, is apart of a passing world and that ultimately, in some way we don't fully understand, God will sustain us for all eternity. That's a wonderful point, as all that we do ought to be for the greater glory of God through Christ. Those were some of my big take-aways, and I'm grateful for the time taken to put this all together. Pax tecum.
