I think loneliness in your 20s is harder when you’ve never actually REALLY experienced a real, in person relationship. It’s easy for people to say how peaceful being single is after they’ve had relationships and have been through the whole thing one or multiple times. But when you haven’t done it? And the years are just going by? It really hurts. It starts to feel like there’s something wrong with you, like of all the people out there having these experiences you’re the odd one out because you’re unable to have that too. It’s even worse if you have to watch someone you actually loved but could never be with go through relationships of their own knowing that that’ll probably never be you.
