Thank you :) Haha yeah that was a bit confusing - I can't remember if I said in the commentary or not, but I figured out it was a shortcut setting to blacklist debuffs, I just forgot to turn it off! It was helpful to quickly remove unimportant debuffs from my frames, but the laziness cost me here and there... definitely disabling for live keys!

I haven't put much time into thinking about raiding tbh, I just pug norm/heroic at the start of a patch. So I'm probably not a great resource for raid info, sorry!

Hey! I don't think I can call it a "must have", because there is solid logic against taking it. However, I value it's positive effects more than the drawbacks throughout testing, so I'll probably continue to run it barring future tuning. During periods of heavy healing, don't forget that EF heals you for 25% more, so hitting yourself with one during a beacon window can usually clear the debuff + cleave extra healing onto your party. EF hot / Dawnlight hot / Leech / Etc passive sources can all help keep the absorb manageable. During less intense periods, you can often let passive healing take care of it, or manually clear/trim it down whenever. Imo its the same principle as using Blessing of Sacrifice: You're taking more "damage" so that other party members take less.

Major advice: 1) Dungeon familiarity is king - we're all going to get better / figure out where we can greed more damage with more runs done. No shortcut here unfortunately. 2) It's a lot safer to spend at 5 holy power vs 3, especially if you dont have DT/Wings ready. If you can't safely get to 5 power, its probably a bad time to be using sotr. A general framework of questions to consider: -is every at "safe" health -is there big damage coming soon -do I have 5 holy power or can I get it quickly -can I trust my team to not get owned by avoidable damage or missed kicks -are there other external factors that are making it easier to do damage (tank in full defensives, low group damage, spriest using VE, etc) I wouldn't say any of this is perfect or optimal, but these are the gameplay aspects I consider when choosing to use sotr. @@Jickolas it helped alot!. i went MW monk for dragonflight so i wanna try out holy pally even though MW monk feels comfier for me (probably cos used to it). Love the holy aesthetic but i sometimes feel so naked when both my divine toll and wings are down.

I've never played MW seriously, but during alt weeks it was always a fun spec with ring of peace / para / aoe stun / kick, I felt like there was so much I could do! Hpal is definitely weaker without those cooldowns ready. An important thing to track in the background is when your next Awakening wings proc will be. If you can plan around them, they really help tide over dry spells. It's not "optimal", but I'll often hold the proc for a while (you have 30 seconds to use it) in order to line up healing at a more impactful time. Also, make sure to use Wings THEN proc your awakening, so it extends the duration. If you reverse the order, it completely overwrites your proc and you lose 12 sec of uptime! Good luck with holy, its a lot of fun right now!

I feel like, if we're speaking about a purely deterministic and replicable combo, it would be an overall throughput increase within the BoV window to start with prism like you said. Something like this: (5 power) BoV > Prism > EF > EF > HS > HL > EF (0 power) BoV > Prism > EF > HS > HS > HL > EF However, I thought there was 2 minor issues with these combos, which is why I decided to use what is in the video. 1) I want to make sure a Holy Shock is getting used right away. This gives us a chance to get one of our procs and therefore have a stronger BoV window. Additionally, its important to have the CD ticking down to use as much as possible. 2) An early use of EF can help protect your most vulnerable targets, and a late use will have the most bonus crit (probably) from our spec talent "Extrication". I believe the trade off of missing the dawnlight hot + spender % increase is worth it for the above reasons. Not to say I couldn't be wrong, but that is what I think based on my experience testing / thinking about the game. To answer your second part. I definitely wouldn't want to pre-dawnlight outside of the beacon, because then you're missing out on using: -prism during beacon (obviously) -the divine purpose proc from prism (15% amp on your EF) since you'd have to consume it to apply the dawnlight If there was a way to apply our Prism procced dawnlights without consuming the Aurora divine purpose proc, I'd agree with you tbh! Also, this isn't to say using Prism + spenders for dawnlights outside of BoV is wrong (it's very often the correct thing to do!!!), but it was a topic outside the scope of my video, which was made to show others how to execute a baseline BoV window. I've learned a ridiculous amount from making this, so next time I try making hpal guide content, I'll do much better! Thanks for your comment!

@@Jickolastbh, long story short. If your prism is ready it’s definitely worth it to use it early. Right after the BV or before. Depends on your holy power, procs and group health bar. But to maximize your heal output; dawnlight should be part of your BV window. Br ✌🏻

Personally, I'm a melee wings hater and hope I never have to use it again... But hey if its good and works for you, sweet! Hopefully blizzard can find a way to keep both builds competitive so everyone can have a playstyle they enjoy :)

I think Virtue is better than Faith for (most of) the current dungeon set, but you could use Faith and usually get by fine if thats what you prefer. I'd recommend to try both and decide what works best for you.

Welcome to healing! Yeah, it can be obnoxious at times to deal with random / unplanned damage, but I think without people messing up here and there, things would get boring quick since we'd have nothing to do haha. Definitely a lot of fun!

TY haha :) I think removing Holy Infusion was probably the correct decision, as it normalizes our holy power generation which will make hpal easier for blizzard to balance in the long run. I wish it could've stayed, because I'd like to see the devs support multiple builds. But they've shown that, for one reason or another, they're mostly incapable of doing so. Which means the next best option is a singular, cohesive, core gameplay loop.

Not quite. You shouldn't spam it, but you definitely must plan around it. Sometimes you'll have to AoE heal without using it, so that it will be ready for other damage events. Also spamming it can be pretty mana intensive, so you really only want to press it if you need to, which will take some practice!

Cell has that feature but I haven't used it. I use a weakaura for it: wago.io/TargetedSpells/5 I think this is a bit out-of-date, but seems to work. Use whichever you prefer!

Gotta be prot warrior for me. I appreciate their smoother damage intake in most scenarios + good damage and a buff that benefits strong melee dps. Next is BDK, mainly because they have a cheat death (that they talent unlike VDH) and grips are very nice to have when caster mobs aren't getting kicked into the pack. VDHs who don't take cheat death and run 10 seconds ahead of the group are my least favorite.

Thank you! I think Edit Mode does almost everything Bartender does. Except for one very import feature. Bartender allows me to change the padding between each action button, so I can fit more into smaller spaces, without shrinking what I want to actually look at. Based on the current tuning, it'll be A-tier. Rsham / Pevoker is currently making waves in the highest key groups, whereas Hpal has fallen to the wayside with the most recent round of nerfs. By no means bad, just not "the absolute best". Unfortunately, I am not a great multiclasser, so I'm probably going to stick to Hpal and power through it.

Hey! I feel like the tank changes have been, overall, good. Tanks are still very strong, but now occasionally require help from their team. For better or worse, they more closely match the niches you'd expect (DH/Bear insane in meta, DK pretty much still needs no healer, Prot warrior does no healing but takes no damage, Brew still isn't played often haha). Prot Paladin has been the biggest loser, but frankly I've seen so few of them (unironically 1) I can't provide meaningful commentary. Massive spread of skill for sure. Over the course of beta I've played with people who get rank 1 for fun, and people *definitely* testing a class for the first time lol. 9/10 times, the the insane gamers never die unless limit testing, while the... learners... lose 1v1s to critters. ...Though I do see DHs die a lot more often than other tanks, must still think they're in DF XD... If this is the new standard for an m+ season, I think the community will need to shift their mindset a bit, which will take some time. Big damage blasting will always be important, but doing everything you can to keep yourself and your team alive vs some of these crazy bosses/pulls is going to be king for the majority of keystone levels. Personally, even with the past 2 months of beta experience, I'm expecting to get absolutely farmed for the first couple weeks as gamers without beta start catching up. Thankfully, we can focus on gearing / learning / having fun then, since m+ is always end-of-season centric Don't get me wrong, I've been getting farmed since June. I have AT LEAST 5 VoDs on my harddrive of +40 death Grim Batols. It's going to be a wild time for sure lol!

@@Jickolas Yeeeah I'm very likely going to go hard casual for a bit, for the first time since BfA. Thank goodness for warbands, account-wide reps, and delves. It's a shame that Blizz haven't yet realized, or at least haven't yet done any work to fix, the fact that their game is *d-o-g-s-h-i-t* at teaching players how to play. Some real resources being put into brainstorming, prototyping, and a hundred cycles of testing~feedback could potentially work absolute wonders for this game. The game identifying individual fuckups, privately alerting players to those fuckups, and offering effective resources for training. Accept that their own designers design the game to be played within a certain spectrum of ways, and lead people to & through appropriate instruction of those ways. For fucks sake, last season I had a 2,6k shaman, a SHAMAN!, whisper me on my shaman alt asking what shaman's kick spell was, because they'd never pressed it before. Thank you for the reply! If you were able to have casual fun in DF, it should be a similar experience system-wise in TWW. Quick summary TWW vs DF: Gearing - Improved for mains and alts. Warbound gear, account wide crest reduction and some reps. Alts looking good! Solo content: Story mode raid + delves let you get vault rewards while playing solo. +level 13 delve could be a good "casual" objective (who knows yet they're still keeping it a secret). Dungeons: Harder overall, but also more engaging in my opinion. New affixes are interesting. You may find more fun in (relative to yourself, whatever it is) lower level content, whereas higher level content might be more stressful. PVP: Solo queue rated bgs will probably be super fun if thats your kinda thing. Story/Bad guys: Already looks massively more promising than DF. No comment on the raid Hope that helps you decide.

For example left click for cell and 1 on keyboard for damage?

You could simple mouseover with the same keybind. Then pressing the same button. If your are not over a nameplate, you will hit your target (the enemy) with holy shock, if youre mouse is over a playertarget on your unitframe (like grid2 for example), you hit that player with holy shock. No need for two different keybinds. This can be realized with Addons like Clique.

@@Man_With_A_Harmonica I do. Right-click on Cell unit frames is Holy Shock to heal, as well as 3 on my keyboard for hitting my target. I know it's not completely necessary like JakenDvD said below, but I prefer having 2 binds for spells like this (penance is another example, though I don't play much priest).

@@JaksnDvD Totally right (though like I said above, I do have 2 keybinds haha). One of the nice parts of Cell is that it also has a click-keybind menu, so you can do it there as well! Not correcting you just sharing.

Yeah, I think keys will prob go higher than that overall, though the hardest key (w/e it ends up being) might cap pretty early. Scaling on 12s and higher goes crazy with fort/tyr/new 20% affix. Depends on blizz tuning of course haha.

​@@Frstypwngaming Keys do usually trend a little lower at the start of expacs (in addition to the scaling changes). Some of the easiest keys per expac: Highest AV in S1 DF: +29... S4 (TGP): AV +23 (+33 equiv) Highest NW in S1 SL: +27... S3: +32 Highest FH in S1 BFA: +22... S4: +30 So while I don't think we'll land near BFA's lower numbers, I'd be pretty surprised if keys (minus maybe 1 outlier) are going over the +17-19 range. But yeah scores could pop off and it could be +22s for all we really know lol, just gotta wait and see!

Nah I pretty much only tested on Hpal. Other healers I mainly just read talents/set up bars/hit target dummies a bit. I'll save playing them for the live servers :) I think paladin will still be fine and completely able to heal keys at just about every level, though it might not be the meta pick. Rsham definitely looking super strong (perhaps a bit too strong from what I've seen). Rdruid can do crazy damage, but I don't think they're better at healing a lot of these fights vs hpal. This is all just based off watching others play though.

I could happily go the rest of my life without having to solve the maze again, that's for sure!
