My 2023 ZX200 has to have the power switch on for those to work. I know it can be frustrating to begin with, but it’s a good thing to be able to cut power off to everything if you ever have a power draw.

Mine has a padded circle spot on underside of cover with a snap where an extendable pole is attached. The pole came with the cover. This props up the cover like a tent over front deck. Same set up on back deck. Does it work? Don't know. I keep it in garage.

Go out and buy a new one. I bet you will change your mind about Skeeter boats. I know I did, I owed 2 before and never had any or come close to having these issues. Companies like should start to wonder why their sales are going down. Its just not with Skeeter its with all the boat companies. I fish tournaments and friends that have bought new boats are facing some of the same issues as I have. We as a consumer should be able to use the Lemon Law on boats just like we can use it on vehicles. That will definitely change the companies mind after they have to buy them back from you at retail price.

@notsogood6249 I currently have a 2023 ZXR19, bought last August....absolutely no issues at all...had a 2022 ZX225, 2020 ZX200, 2019 ZX190 and a 2012 TZX170 no issues with any of them...yeah, quality has become an issue recently

@@vernonneal7050 I owned two previous Skeeter boats both ZX200 without any issues with the boat or Yamaha engines. This 2023 ZX200 just has one issue after another issue with the boat and now the Yamaha engine completely seized up. I have been owning and operating boats for over 37 years and owned various brands of bass boats. Some with minor issues and some with none. This one has been a completely nightmare and Skeeter dealerships just don't care or they just don't want to take care of warranty issues. I have been waiting just about 3 months for Yamaha to cover my engine under warranty. I have not heard a word nor my dealership has heard a word from Yamaha . My dealership showed me a lower unit that Yamaha has approved a new one and they have been waiting for it to arrived for 9 weeks. Yes, I have been lucky over the years but it looks like my luck is going bad.

@@vernonneal7050 I can tell you this about the Skeeter boat issues. I fixed them all myself. F.Y.I. Take a good look at your wires in the hull, all of them are not water proof connections. Pull your breaker panel and check all the connections. Check all the LiveWell fittings for cracks and leaks. My Yamaha engine warranty, I'm still waiting to hear what they are going to do. My dealership has e mailed them numerous times, but no replies...it just keeps saying claim is PENDING. What the kicker is I had it in for the 20 hours service and everything checked out great. 3 hours later, engine seized up. Water got into the two lower pistons and Hydro-Locked the engine. My dealership downloaded the engine numbers again and found nothing wrong. Pulled the the two sparks plugs and found the Hoover Dam. I hope you or another Skeeter boat owner never has to deal with issues like I have.

Yea... I'm calling bullshit on all this. Owned several skeeters and love them. My dealer is great and no issues getting warranty work from skeeter or the dealer.

If my comment is totally bullshit, then why did Yamaha finally approve me a new long block powerhead if I made this up. Why did I have to spend $400.00 replacing cheap automotive wire connectors with waterproof ones and the price included labor. Shop rate at $150.00 per hour. While my boat was in the shop waiting for my new powerhead, my non -Skeeter dealer had his fiberglass guy come in and rebuffed the port side of my boat. I also paid that expense $250.00 out of my pocket, and I have submitted that bill to Skeeter. I wished I had a good Skeeter dealership close by instead of 150 miles away. @@Bogeypro256

Agree. 3 or 4 seconds on a feature than back to the longer shot of the boat in a showroom. I hope someone else does a better walk thru because this looks like a great boat. I think.
