Bought a 2022 zx 200 new had to order it. Was a “Covid boat” Was delivered missing parts…. Dealer even missed this…. Have had more issues with this than I did with my 2001 zx225 in the 21 years I owned it. Quality control seemed to be out to lunch Unacceptable to spend that much money on anything and have nonstop issues that should have been taken care of before boat was shipped. Otherwise I love the boat It’s fast Handles rough water very well (better than my old zx225) Looks great Smooth ride Easy to drive Good fishability

BUYER"s BEWARE!!! I purchased a brand new 2023 ZX200 this year. What a HUGE mistake that was. Here are my reason's...Skeeter Customer service personnel not even worth calling. I will give them a 1 star. Skeeter dealership's just don't care to do warranty work, poor workmanship on the seats, water leaks in the hull, coming in through the through all fittings, LiveWell fittings cracked and/or leaking, electrical wiring connections poor, not even waterproof connectors, quality of fiberglass was not completely buffed and polished, had my Yamaha engine in the shop 3 times, before the engine seized up. Been waiting for 3 months for Yamaha to cover it under warranty. Theses are some of things you will find out after a couple of months. Skeeter says they been in business for 75 years, my question is "HOW" were they able to stay in business that long.

Oh my! On my 5th Skeeter and never had an issues. Sorry to hear you're having issues!

Go out and buy a new one. I bet you will change your mind about Skeeter boats. I know I did, I owed 2 before and never had any or come close to having these issues. Companies like should start to wonder why their sales are going down. Its just not with Skeeter its with all the boat companies. I fish tournaments and friends that have bought new boats are facing some of the same issues as I have. We as a consumer should be able to use the Lemon Law on boats just like we can use it on vehicles. That will definitely change the companies mind after they have to buy them back from you at retail price.

@notsogood6249 I currently have a 2023 ZXR19, bought last August....absolutely no issues at all...had a 2022 ZX225, 2020 ZX200, 2019 ZX190 and a 2012 TZX170 no issues with any of them...yeah, quality has become an issue recently

@@vernonneal7050 I owned two previous Skeeter boats both ZX200 without any issues with the boat or Yamaha engines. This 2023 ZX200 just has one issue after another issue with the boat and now the Yamaha engine completely seized up. I have been owning and operating boats for over 37 years and owned various brands of bass boats. Some with minor issues and some with none. This one has been a completely nightmare and Skeeter dealerships just don't care or they just don't want to take care of warranty issues. I have been waiting just about 3 months for Yamaha to cover my engine under warranty. I have not heard a word nor my dealership has heard a word from Yamaha . My dealership showed me a lower unit that Yamaha has approved a new one and they have been waiting for it to arrived for 9 weeks. Yes, I have been lucky over the years but it looks like my luck is going bad.

@@vernonneal7050 I can tell you this about the Skeeter boat issues. I fixed them all myself. F.Y.I. Take a good look at your wires in the hull, all of them are not water proof connections. Pull your breaker panel and check all the connections. Check all the LiveWell fittings for cracks and leaks. My Yamaha engine warranty, I'm still waiting to hear what they are going to do. My dealership has e mailed them numerous times, but no replies...it just keeps saying claim is PENDING. What the kicker is I had it in for the 20 hours service and everything checked out great. 3 hours later, engine seized up. Water got into the two lower pistons and Hydro-Locked the engine. My dealership downloaded the engine numbers again and found nothing wrong. Pulled the the two sparks plugs and found the Hoover Dam. I hope you or another Skeeter boat owner never has to deal with issues like I have.
