Great video. I have minor scratches and swirl marks on my brand new F-type amd I would like to install XPEL Satin ppf. I would really like to remove those scratches before applying ppf film..is that recommended? Will buffing and applying sealant interfer with ppf application process?

Thanks. Yes we have clients who like to have their vehicle machine polished before applying film. I wouldn't recommend a sealant before applying the film as it would reduce the adhesion. If you wanted to chat more about some options for your F Type, perhaps email me on [email protected]

It doesn't. We add XPEL Fusion Matte ceramic coating on top for that water beading effect. Also allows the customer to keep their warranty as using other ceramic coatings on top of XPEL film can invalidate the warranty.

Wrong. It’s self healing so if that happens the PPF literally forms back to normal and goodbye rock chip.

Expensive. For a Toyota 4runner in Xpel stealth, it costs around $7500 USD to get it applied to whole vehicle.
