Doesn’t even explain what’s going on and I’m trying to look for specific thing for the overload switch and all this thing is is push a button watch the overload switch go off. I don’t know what to get it that way.

It looks no-one has done it. By simple physics if the generator delivers up to 30 amp at 120v there shouldn't be a problem provided only the EV is connected. V=IR Volts= I (intensity)watts x Resistance ohms. Watts= V.A .then, at east 3600 watts required. That is with the 120v home charger Tesla provides .

Waiting for Milton right now. Happy that I bit the bullet a few months ago on one of these. After Hurricane Milton update: the generator has been performing exceptionally. 1 side by side fridge, 1 freezer, tv, 2 full aquarium setups, and miscellaneous hookups for phones tablets and floor fans. The generator is so quiet I can hear my neighbors generators way more than mine. Very happy with my purchase

Can't say I'm not jealous. I could have really used it this weekend when I lost my electricity due to someone taking out a power pole and transformers. In California, it's still hot, but I can handle some heat, but my fridge and freezer couldn't!

Here's a question... I have a 17500W/26250W Generac with a 30A and a 50A outlet, but not a single combined outlet to serve the full capacity of the generator. I do not know if there are two power "take-offs" from a single winding or two separate windings built into the same generator head, but if they are both being driving by the same engine, then it would seem to me that I would only be concerned with matching phase. Of course, I'm not an electrical engineer, or even an electrician, so I may be thinking wrong. Either way, I don't know how to synch two different phases.

I've on both many generac and many Hondas. I live in the bush in Alaska where we run off of nothing but generator in the winter. I always found generac to be low quality compared to Honda. I have some 2200 Honda's that have over 7,000 hours on them in a two-year time change the oil once a week keep your keep your gas filter clean build a box that can run in in the winter they last a long time. Trying to compare the generac to Honda is like trying to compare a skateboard to a Cadillac.

Tried to use this Generator that we bought from Costco. Never used until after power went out and Hurricane Beryl subsided. Ran it into the house and connected it to a couple standing fans and a couple standing lights along with our refrigerator. After about 7 minutes the GFCI popped on the outlets. Thought ok, that was strange. So, process of elimination cables and items plugged in it boiled down to the refrigerator causing it to pop the GFCI. Friend and next-door neighbor had a discounted and old 8250 off the wall brand generator and he let us use it as well while "mind you" him running all his stuff in his house. "TV-REFRIG-FREEZER-Various lights/fans" and we ran 2 cables from his generator to my house and I ran Refrigerator-Microwave-3 Standing lights and 3 standing oscillating fans along with the occasional toaster and all our chargers for phone etc. along with 2 desktop computers to give it a nice load. Showed the neighbor all we had hooked up along with his stuff and we were pretty damn amazed his generator handled all of it like a champ. Decided let's see if it was just my refrigerator causing our NEW Generator to pop the GFCI. Nope, His refrigerator did the same. So, with that said we are returning the Generac 9200E back to Costco and we will either look for another brand or maybe attribute to that single unit being defective and get a replacement and see how it goes. But very disappointed at the fact when the generator was needed badly it failed us!! Right out of the box!!!!!
