Love your vidéos! My problème is that my Darik colors always stain the cloth and leave a stain in the bath also ☹️ do you have any advice on what to use? I tried oxyde, micas and also cubes…they all ended up staining so I can’t sell them 😑

Well that's a great question, but I will need to know a little more info before I can help. Which brand and type of clear base are you using? What temperature do you heat it to and pour at? Do you add anything other than fragrance oil?

Melt amd pour never lathers its not very good ( Velona) brand 🎉🎉🎉
@msTsoap17 күн бұрын
Try other brands, and make sure you are not adding too many additives. Crafter's Choice lathers extremely well, as does Stephenson's, but you can't add a bunch of oils or too much of any additive will destroy the lather. So will overheating. My MP soaps lather very well. Good luck! 🥰❤

It looks similar to an Irish pour technique, (except in the mold instead of pouring the layers one at a time and then tearing them up and packing them in the mold before pouring.)

Terry, I know you use lots of Crystal Clear base. I'm struggling to find a FO (vanillin-free, of course) that doesn't significantly cloud up the clear base, even with a tiny drop of blue lab dye. Are there any FO's you've found that work best? Feel free to PM me.

How to make that white colour ?
@msTsoapАй бұрын
You can add titanium dioxide or you can purchase many bases that are already white, like goat milk soap base. I mix my titanium dioxide in a small amount of glycerin so it easily disperses in clear soap base. Hope that helps. 🥰

Gosh, these are beautiful like gem stones! My question came from me trying to make your chiffon design, only using neons, which I've never used before. Um. I made a mess. Do you prepare your neon color concentrate (e.g. glycerin + neon) and put in squeeze bottle to use at later dates? I made mine in the little pitchers, thus had to use my mix all up or it would go to waste. It came out WAY too dark/opaque/concentrated. I feel like I wasted what little I've bought (sample bags). How do you "make" your color neon or pigment mixes? Thank you so much!!
@msTsoapАй бұрын
Sorry for the late response, I've been moving to Iowa! I only add about 1/2 tsp or less for the chiffon pieces, depends on the look I want. The hardest part is mushing out the lumps, you really have to work it a while before it's smooth. Hope that helps, and feel free to ask more questions. 🥰❤

This is a cool technique! How long does the first layer cool for? I literally just tried it but I don’t think I let it sit long enough. But I’m happy to try again 😅
@msTsoapАй бұрын
Thank you! The original instructions call for 10 minutes, and check it with a pencil eraser and if it bounces back a little, it's ready- if not add 5 minutes and try again. It really depends on the temperature of your workspace, so it's hard to be exact on that. Good luck to you and would love to see your results! 🥰
