Not really, Caitlin Clark's video dropped and hit 1M views. So she dragged someone who was not her coach into a gym and had someone edit all the times she did make a shot.

Clearly not working on the things that she should be working. Still can't put a rebound up to save her soul. It has to go in the hoop to count .

Also I think CC’s free throws are a little flat and need a little more arc. Your thoughts?

@casilatino yes I agree, it is a line drive type shot. Just a little arc tweak and she should be straight

Caitlin does look like she has a high dribble in general. Do you think she does this to be able to see the court better? She turns the ball over at times because of her high dribble. What’s your opinion of her dribble?

The trouble with Reese is that her only concern is stat padding. Her only real talent is rebounding and the only record she can ever get is double doubles. She'll never get double digit records unless you include lowest shooting percentage for a big, worst handles for a big, most travels for a big, and most clout chasing incidents in a season.Angel has moves that can make a baby giraffe look graceful.

You're making way too many excuses for Reese. It's actually embarrassing. She misses more layups than most players in WNBA.

This is such a ridiculous take. To place any type of blame on the NBA is ludicrous. And, to say that if the NBA had signed a bigger deal with the WNBA for more money the women could earn the income they deserve. Did I get that wrong? These women are subsidized. In 27 years they have not made a profit. This is all well known. What business would survive with this kind of track record. This is an awful episode.
@Hendrxxhoops
@Hendrxxhoops Күн бұрын
You're answering your own statement lol. You said yourself the nba subsidizes the W...so you understand that the W isn't its own entity which is what i said😅 Which means that if the nba wanted to pull the plug on the W they could. It ALSO means that they can decide how much they want to put INTO the Wnba. I don't have to speak opinion on this cuz it's literally how the W is set up: 1. The nba still owns majority of the W and subsidizes it. 2. The nba still has governance and "say-so" over the Wnba. 3. The nba negotiated the wnbas latest media deal. Those are facts, not my opinion. And it really has nothing to do with my opinion because it's a general understanding that the W lacks resources. So answer this question for me... If the nba wanted the W to have more resources, wouldn't they give them a bigger slice of the pie?

I love seeing CC working on her weaknesses like ball handling. By improving that area all that pressure, pushing and grabbing will help her keep the turn overs down. Awesome work
@Wraithlen
@Wraithlen 2 күн бұрын
Lol ball handling is NOT her weakness. You clearly haven't watched her play much if you really believe that. Her mid range game (on offense) is her weakness. She used it a lot in high school but got away from it. Floaters, stop and pop from 15, etc. She's been working on it I'm sure and we'll see more buckets next year in the midrange.
@MoseOHowardJR
@MoseOHowardJR 2 күн бұрын
@ Respectfully I’ve been watching CC play since high school and as a X ball player and coach she dribbles way too high sometime and that gets her pocket picked like it did so many times her rookie year. She broke the record in turnovers mostly Because of that sloppy dribbling. when there’s any kind of body contact it’s easy for the defender to knock or tap the ball away which happened a lot as well. So by working on that and keeping the dribble low it will be hard for those defenders to steal the ball and I’m praying her turn overs will be much improved this coming season. Before I retire I lived in Nebraska and we would drive over to Iowa and watch CC play often and we never missed a Nebraska game when she came to town. I loved seeing her growth as a player and person. I do agree with you about her mid range game which it appears from the workouts she will start using more in the next W next season.

Some good analysis. I think Stephanie White will have the Fever playing much better this year. I’m expecting Caitlin to be much more efficient this year, should put up incredible numbers. I think she averages more than 10 assists per game and crushes all the assists records.

Great video, some really good insights. You sort of picked up on this but almost everything she was doing in this video is shooting with her off hand, shooting from her weak side, working on midrange floaters jumping off her weak leg, etc. Things that Stephanie no doubt had written down when scouting her last season. She has said previously that the scouting report on Caitlin was 8 or 9 pages long, much longer than just about any other player. Teams put so much effort into exposing her weaknesses and it did work sometimes last season. So now they just need to eliminate the weaknesses. She is consistently hitting shots in areas that she wasn’t even attempting before so this is just a basic skills routine to get her learning new tricks for her bag. It’s also very offseason so there’s not as much of an emphasis on cardio. That will come later.
