Why does he say somewhere let’s get married and call the baby prince - that is Michael Jackson’s real life. Did someone else notice ? They had this funny friendly competition. Both legends ❤

THIS IS A real soul trip, people. Unreal man. As a conductor of his incredible musicians , choosen and rehearsealed by him, as a compositor of every melody you are listening, as a genius player, as a singer with a 5 and a half octaves range voice, and a perfect show man on stage . Coolest and elegant like any other. Prince is perfection himself. He is Above all the rest, before and after .... Bless we have his legacy Live . Just watching and listen to Prince Live , is healing people every day around the world.... Prince will adore that . The Master. A genius musician.

John Blackwell might be my favorite of the drummers that worked with Prince. Just as we did when Prince died, we lost a legend when John died. He was only 43, and had years left to him. Such a loss, but at least we have these videos of both of them to remember and cherish at least as long as You Tube exists. RIP to both of them -- and to Boni Boyer, too.

Wow! So happy that you have done a reaction to Aretha Franklin singing Nessun Dorma. Every so often, I check to see if anyone else has made a reaction of this. Thanks so much for reacting to this special performance. I loved your comments and how touched you were. I was watching that night and it became one of my favorite performances because of the blend of her gospel/soul background with the classical opera genre. She brought something to it that transforms it to something that is soul stirring. It is true that Aretha stepped in at the last minute. She and Pavarotti were friends. Aretha had sang Nessun Dorma at a benefit a short time before. Most people didn't know that Aretha loved opera or even sang it. But, her friend Pavarotti knew that and He had seen her perform the song. So, when he became ill, he asked Aretha if she could step in at the last minute when his doctor advised him not to sing. Aretha agreed. What you said was true. Aretha listened to the rehearsal track of Pavarotti and the choir before going on stage so she knew what to expect from the orchestra. She did play it a couple times. But, Aretha went out on that stage and sang it as only Aretha can or would sing Nessun Dorma. I absolutely love her rendition and interpretation. Like you, I enjoyed hearing the English translation incorporated. I was so disgusted with opera snobs who attacked her after the performance. They wanted her to sing it in the traditional way. They are so tone deaf to what doesn't fit into their snobbish little box, they missed hearing a truly one of a kind performance that can't be replicated. The tone of her voice and its inflections are so moving. No wonder you cried. Thanks again. Loved your reaction.

There's another commercial featuring Ullanda McCullough singing "Believe In Yourself" that I like better. Berry Gordy signed Stephanie Mills to Motown in 1975 because he wanted her for the film. No one wanted Diana for the role of Dorothy. Not Berry and not the film's original director, John Badham, who quit when Diana went behind their backs and made a deal with Universal to star in the film.

@ReelReactionsReelReviews Want some more juicy information ? Berry Gordy didn't want Stephanie Mills for the film. It's all lies and 100% untrue. Stephanie Mills has also said in her own words in an Essence Magazine interview that she was NEVER ASKED NOR CONSIDERED for the role of Dorothy in The film version. Diana Ross wanted it and got it. She didn't have to go behind anyone's back. No major motion picture studio would even touch this project without Diana Ross. Diana Ross was also responsible for the casting of Michael Jackson as the Scarecrow. On the set of the film Jackson was introduced to the films musical director Quincy Jones who would later collaborate with Jackson on "Off the Wall" "Thriller" and BAD" which made music history and forever changed the concept of music videos etc. None of those amazing historical iconic musical moments would have happened without Miss Ross on this project. Michael Jackson's career literally skyrocketed simply because he met Quincy Jones on set. We should all be kissing Diana's Silver Slippers ! The film is a monumental masterpiece. The updated modern urban conception was brilliant on so many unique levels. You can't even compare a stage play using 800 square feet and only seen in a small corner of the world to a movie that is now considered a timeless classic that is beloved and known by people all across the earth and seen in the majority of households for generations now. The Wiz movie is on an entirely didn't level than the stage show which is basically a copycat cut n paste version of the 1939 Judy Garland film only done with Black faces. Usually the only people who are bitching and pitting the film against the stage version are usually theater majors and/or musical theater fanatics. You can't please them. Screw what all the haters say, but that's the way it is, and I celebrate as often as I can that Diana Ross got this role. She was absolutely phenomenal as Dorothy and the entire cast was fantastic as well. Berry Gordy is just fine with Diana as Dorothy because she proved to him she could do it and that the story is not limited to specific age. And nobody cares about the director who quit because all he was going to do was cut n paste The Wizard of OZ on a very low budget with a bunch of unknowns. THE WIZ movie is my favorite version and I saw the Broadway show with Stephanie Mills, but I enjoyed the film way more 😉

If people can announce joining any organization, they should be able to say when they are no longer apart of. They didn't make a big deal of it back in the day because people knew that it wasn't that deep, that if those people were good enough to be apart of the organization then they are good enough to be friends with them when they are no longer apart of. Let people do what they feel is necessary because honestly, greeks aren't like they were. They let any anyone and they just do it for friends and notoriety. If the greeks didn't make such a big deal about it, many people wouldn't even know about someone denouncing. But... you all go and make post and videos which in essence make it a larger deal. Respectfully, leave people alone!

Not only do I hope to see Taylor Swift as Dazzler and Taron Egerton as a different alternative version of Wolverine, I also hope that it has Dafne Keen as Laura, Halle Berry & Alexander Shipp as different verisons of Storm, Ian McKellen & Michael Fassbender as different versions of Magneto, James McAvoy & Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles X, Jennifer Lawrence as Raven/ Mystique, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Rose Bryne as Moira MacTaggert, Evan Peters & Aaron Taylor-Johnson as different versions of Quicksilver, Sophie Turner & Famke Janssen as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan, James Marsden & Henry Cavill as different versions of as Cyclops, Chris Evans & Jessica Alba as Human Torch & Invisible Woman, Olivia Munn as Psylocke, Colin Ferrell as Bullseye, and Ben Affleck as Daredevil. Especially Walker Scobell as Kidpool I also hope that Josh Brolin comes back as Cable in the post credits scene when he finds out that Deadpool took his Time Machine. Please also bring back Julian Dennison as Firefist and Zazie Beetz as Domino. Can’t wait to see Dogpool too. Also, if this movie gets good and get a 2hrs 30mins or a 3hrs run-time, hope it’ll get a $1B or maybe a $2B box office I can definitely see Deadpool getting revenge by using the time machine to either stop Disney from buying Fox or convince Paramount to buy out distribution of Marvel films. I also wish and hope Cable (Josh Brolin) returns at least in a mid credit scenes when he finds out that Deadpool took his Time Machine. They also should bring back Zazie Beetz as Domino too Let’s hope that if it’s great, it gets a $1B or $2B Box Office and maybe get a 2hrs 40mins run-time or maybe 3hrs long. Glad that it’s R-rated. Wonder if they’ll do a PG-13 version just like Deadpool 2 And seeing Shatterstar is still alive at the beginning meaning that Deadpool probably went back in time to save him besides Peter. That also means that he could also probably saved the rest of the member of X-Force like Zeitgeist (Bill Skargård), Bedlam (Terry Crews), and of course The Vanisher (Brad Pitt) Imagine if Deadpool did a Barbie joke. Maybe an Oppenheimer joke. “Barbenheimer joke”. #LFG
