In reading her denouncing letter, she made it clear that the rituals conflicted with her faith in Jesus Christ. Bowing and kneeling at alter and making an oath and joining in covenant with the demon Minevera are things that God specifically tells us not to do. She backed up everything with scripture. She didn't do this for clout. How could this affect her life positively? She did it because the Lord convicted her, and she was obedient. HE will take care of her. If God is for her, who can be against her? She won't be missing out on any opportunities because she chose Him over man knowing that this would come with extreme backlash. She was bold in her faith, and God always honors obedience. (Think of the Hebrew boys and the firey furnace) Also, since she pledged publicly, denouncing publicly makes sense to prevent others from making the same mistake she did.

If people can announce joining any organization, they should be able to say when they are no longer apart of. They didn't make a big deal of it back in the day because people knew that it wasn't that deep, that if those people were good enough to be apart of the organization then they are good enough to be friends with them when they are no longer apart of. Let people do what they feel is necessary because honestly, greeks aren't like they were. They let any anyone and they just do it for friends and notoriety. If the greeks didn't make such a big deal about it, many people wouldn't even know about someone denouncing. But... you all go and make post and videos which in essence make it a larger deal. Respectfully, leave people alone!
