How do you know the car alarm doesn't imitate mockingbirds?

I literally just took my dog out and heard one doing car alarm noises. We’re in a hotel in the city rn but we live in the countryside a couple states over. I’ve grown up listening to them but never really heard them imitating car alarms😂

We live in Texas and have a Mr Mocking Bird in one of our pecan trees. He loves to imitate my husband's whistles. But when I let our cat out Mr Bird dive-bombs the cat! Not sure why....

Its actually the other way around, car alarms were designed from the sounds mockingbirds make.

I sat an hour straight thinking "What have we done?" how wrong that was, and it stuck with me. I kept coming back to it, trying to figure put where in the world we had gone so wrong that it ended up here.

Just recently someone on my block went somewhere and their car alarm was going off for hours. Like 12 to 15 hours straight one of my other neighbors waited till 3:30/4 in the morning to break in it and disconnect it but idk how it went off that long maybe they had a few batteries in the car not sure but it was going off none stop for a extremely long time driving people crazy and ever since the birds that live near me make the same exact sound of that car alarm lol I'm not sure what breed of birds they are there is a few different ones

i remember back in the 90s when those alarms were still popular there was a mockingbird that sounded exactly like the real thing. both funny and annoying as it would do it late at night when trying to sleep. the one in this video doesn't seem to do as good a job mimicking it.

The most unpleasant sound that a bird could potentially create. Mockingbirds are one of my most despised birds to hear at night.

I live in kinda rural area, and when I walk down the road, I can hear them in specific patterns.. What's funnier is that they're talking like small robots exchanging some data... We, humans know so little about nature. I can feel their superiority being unable to understand them.

The town I lived in had lots of mocking birds. They will mimic a cat meow, horn even a siren. Craziest things I've ever heard! Wonder why they don't mimic the humans hollering "SHUT UP!" lol

I was so confused when I head a very out of place “duck”. Then I saw that the culprit was really a mockingbird. It’s pretty incredible what they can imitate.
