We don't wear african clothes because we aren't in Africa, we're in the UK born and raised. We wear what's popular in the UK. Remember that we didn't ask to be here. Our parents immigrated here and we had to deal with the white brits mocking our home countries. We owe no allegiance to Africa or it's culture, we shouldn't be the ones defending it when we have enough problems existing in a place we were born in. If you can separate black Americans from being african, you should do the same for UK born black brits.
