It would be sooo exciting to see it flower for the first time and when that time arrives, I am sure you'll love it! <3 Oh my! the fragnance? it's like a combination of very clean soap and ripe bananas, it sounds a bit odd of combination right? :D but honestly it was soooo good! I showed Jacqui from 00:59- 04:00 feel free to watch it only if you feel like it :) However, I had just purchased a bare root one (floribunda, I think it's the same type you can see in my video here?) because I sadly lost this first rose when I had to dig it up and replant it early this year. I think I did it way too late in the winter time :( it was thriving so perfectly before the move. Anyway, I am going to start again and try to grow another one as soon as I have received it via post, probably towards late this month to December, fingers crossed! @K.KleopatraK. hello Kitti K it is so lovely to hear from you and thank you so much for your message🥰 I can remember how scared and concerned I was doing this early on this year😅. I am so glad I have made some patchy recordings on how I did with this task and managed to make an update to share here. I feel you would like and adore this rose in your garden too, I highly recommend it, honestly. It's quite a tough rose and very vigorous growing too which could also grow really tall as I have shared in my first video of it and despite the radical pruning I still find it's trying to grow more vertically this year, so will try and cut it shorter next time😆 The scent for me is like a strong tea, so lovely and heavenly☺ How did you get on with your newly planted roses this year, I'm sure they are settling in well🙂 I hope you had a lovely summer this year. It has been so busy in here for me, both in the garden and personal scenarios (as expected though). This year's summer has been mild and mostly wet but we have managed to make some precious memories regardless 💗. I am way overdue to visit you too and finish watching your interactions with nature😊. Cold winter will indeed give us opportunities to slow down and savour the quiet time either reading or watching our comforting programs. @gardeningbyheart4912 hello 🙂 Yes, my EB is in full sun and it's almost 4 years old now ☺our garden is north-facing but luckily it's quiet open and so still get full sun during summer. To be honest with you mine didn't flower this bountifully during its first and second year either but I heard that roses takes up to 3 years to settle in before they start flourishing well. Perhaps yours are still growing to surprise you come next year onwards and it'll be amazing in your garden for sure especially you have 3 of this rose!🥰. As I showed here I normally feed mine twice a year, early spring and then mid-summer just after I deadhead it and before it sends its second blooms for the year. I use 50 grms of FBB but one can also use a proper rosefood from garden centre etc., :) I have also just learned from my neighbour this year using banana peels also does magic! and I have tried it with my Peace and Mum in a million roses and they loved it! Maybe you can also try this and see if we can coaxe yours to flower some more🙏 I am rooting for your roses come next blooming seasons, sending positive vibes💖 :)

Hello babes :) Thank you so much. There are still some flowers in bloom but it's now gradually tuning down here and soon we'll be back to looking at an almost bare ground again. Właściwie to nie zdawałam sobie sprawy, że zawsze zostawiam wokół siebie pajęczyny :D Chyba można mnie nazwać szaloną pajęczą damą, ale nie dlatego, że mam w pobliżu tarantulę (prawdopodobnie nie miałabym ochoty jej głaskać, gdybym miała taką w pobliżu!). ) Po prostu uwielbiam maluchy, te, które dotrzymują mi towarzystwa w ogrodzie i w mojej szklarni. Muszę się jeszcze nauczyć sztuki opiekowania się nimi, kiedy w odpowiednim czasie będę musiał umyć szklarnię. Dziękuję za wiadomość, mój drogi przyjacielu ogrodniku. Oh my goodness! the way you described your cucs made me laugh🤣 as long as the fruit are still edible? 😉 Mine have just started to bare new fruit again and there are loads of them atm (all still tiny with flowers at the end) though they might not be able to grow long and big before it gets too cold again. I am rooting for your raspberry cuttings to survive, it would be thrilling for you🥰 I bought a bareroot one very cheaply and it didn't survive but I was not expecting too much from it. However, I got a voluntary one growing in one of my pots! (I'm not complaining at all) though I have no clue where it came from, as I don't think any of my neighbours have it in theirs. 🤔 Exciting progress on your special plum tree🥳 that's actually a good idea about using mesh for the big holes, I wouldn't have thought of doing this, thank you :) Hopefully you'll soon have your plum tree all settled and snuggly in its location.🙂 I love this hummingbirds💓 it's coming on okay at night but not as bright like earlier on when we had short spell of warmer days🙉. How exciting for you too! I'm sure your toms will be as delightful☺ I see you're somewhere a bit colder and wetter, it must be lush and green around you most of the year. This year's summer has been so mild, could be the reason why most of our edibles are ripening late or have not done well, hoping for a better growing weather next year🙏. Oooh, we love Rhubarb too and we get loads here from our friends, they have tons of it growing in their allotment. Endless supply of rhubard crumbles is in order for all of us then🥰. @@Peter-oz8ec Thank youfor your nice message and sound advice :) I think I am giving up the hope of seeing warm weather this year 🙈 I think we're now officially in autumn (a freezing one it seems) I just harvested more unripen tommies today because some started showing brown blemishes, hopefully I can force these to ripen okay in the kitchen. I have also managed to move the remaining 3 tommies in pots outside into the greenhouse (video to be followed here soon) so fingerscrossed we'll get to see those fruiting better,now they're in the sheltered location.
