That's a brilliant harvest Maggie ! Your outdoor plants have done incredibly well too 🙂 I have one 🍅 plant outdoors - not enough room in the greenhouse for it, looking quite battered by the weather. Indoors, I'm still waiting for a lot to ripen. Some of my cucumbers are growing into strange comma shapes 🤨 I now have 2 raspberry cuttings, a bit wilty leaved but still alive, I think. I followed a youtube video on how to take them. Fingers crossed. My pot for the plum tree has arrived. Area cleared, pot in place. The pre drilled holes are so big that my drainage gravel will fall through so I will need to put some mesh inside first. I see the hummingbirds are settling in nicely 😁 It would be nice to see them lit up at dusk, if we can still get enough sun to power them. Looks like your fig has quite big fruits on - maybe it will crop again this year ? Lovely sunflower 🙂🌻🐞 x

Thank you Angela 🥰 I'm surprised as well, honestly, despite of me, my edibles did well!😆🥳 I'm keeping my fingers crossed you'll get loads of good toms harvest soon🙏 I learned from this year's experience to stake any toms I plant outdoors well. Oh my goodness! the way you described your cucs made me laugh🤣 as long as the fruit are still edible? 😉 Mine have just started to bare new fruit again and there are loads of them atm (all still tiny with flowers at the end) though they might not be able to grow long and big before it gets too cold again. I am rooting for your raspberry cuttings to survive, it would be thrilling for you🥰 I bought a bareroot one very cheaply and it didn't survive but I was not expecting too much from it. However, I got a voluntary one growing in one of my pots! (I'm not complaining at all) though I have no clue where it came from, as I don't think any of my neighbours have it in theirs. 🤔 Exciting progress on your special plum tree🥳 that's actually a good idea about using mesh for the big holes, I wouldn't have thought of doing this, thank you :) Hopefully you'll soon have your plum tree all settled and snuggly in its location.🙂 I love this hummingbirds💓 it's coming on okay at night but not as bright like earlier on when we had short spell of warmer days🙉. The fig fruit hopefully they will ripen soon before it gets too late for them to do so 🤞 Thank you and have a good night 💗 🙂xxx

Swoje zbiory smakują dużo lepiej, a Ty w dodatku uprawiasz warzywa w donicach.

Hello babes, thank you so much for your message 🙂 Perhaps you can share your toms diary next year but no pressure if you can't. :) I understand there's always so much to do but we can only tackle so much with so little time we get each day, so no worries at all🥰 I saw the first stage of your tomatoes in your channel and they all look healthy and happy too for sure the fruit were tasty as well😋. I think I enjoy vlogging around my garden way too much that I always end up making long videos, just chatting away! 😆 So, thank you for appreciating my videos as always💗 Good night🤗 xxx

A lovely video Maggie. Your tomatoes have done well. Gardeners delight are so tasty, but because they’re grown outside then they can suffer from too much natural water , rain I mean. Mine have just begun to ripen now ( at last ) but I’m more to the north of the country than you are. A few other things which I’ve grown this season havn’t done well apart from French dwarf beans and rhubarb of which I have an abundance😊

Thank you so much Peter🙂 Yes, I'm so chuffed with my tomatoes (which showed excessively in this video I'm afraid😆) Fingers crossed I can grow some again next year with same success.🤞 I'm with you, Gardener's delight are so juicy and sweet and will be in my list of tomatoes to grow year after year. How exciting for you too! I'm sure your toms will be as delightful☺ I see you're somewhere a bit colder and wetter, it must be lush and green around you most of the year. This year's summer has been so mild, could be the reason why most of our edibles are ripening late or have not done well, hoping for a better growing weather next year🙏. Oooh, we love Rhubarb too and we get loads here from our friends, they have tons of it growing in their allotment. Endless supply of rhubard crumbles is in order for all of us then🥰. Have a good night my friend 🙂 xx🌱

@@lifeisbeautiful-smile hi Maggie and thanks for a really nice reply. I’ve experienced lots of things in my life but I’m one of those who like the simplest things in life , going back to gardeners delight mine usually last until almost Christmas . Next year (. Season ) I’m hoping to have a lot more free time so that I can try to compete with you ,but I won’t be disappointed to finish a close second

@@Peter-oz8ec You're welcome :) Apologise for the late response, I most of the time not logged in to my channel and unable to see notifications instantly, unless I log in manually and go looking for them. :) I hope you also had a pleasant weekend albeit it's been nothing but rain most of the time! I'm with you there my friend “It's the simple things in life that are the most extraordinary.”― Paulo Coelho 💝 I noticed the fruit on my tomatoes (growing in the open) started to split? I think it's due to the amount of rain we've been getting 🙉. Sounds a good plan for next year, I'm sure though that both our toms will be winning! 🙂 I feel tempted to try other tomato varities too, if I get more free tiime that is, we shall see. 🤞

@@lifeisbeautiful-smile nice hearing ( reading) from you Maggie. Same here this weekend especially , too much rain and yes , no good for outdoor tommies ! ( tomatoes ) harvest them quickly if signs of splitting exist before the little creatures of this word spring into action. If we’re lucky though we can still have edibles until late December. And hey , never a need to apologise, your channel is always good to view .

@@Peter-oz8ec Thank youfor your nice message and sound advice :) I think I am giving up the hope of seeing warm weather this year 🙈 I think we're now officially in autumn (a freezing one it seems) I just harvested more unripen tommies today because some started showing brown blemishes, hopefully I can force these to ripen okay in the kitchen. I have also managed to move the remaining 3 tommies in pots outside into the greenhouse (video to be followed here soon) so fingerscrossed we'll get to see those fruiting better, now they're in the sheltered location. It would be lovely to have some edibles up until December!🙏 Thank you so much for always visiting my channel and leaving me good information and advice. Take care 🙏🙂🍁
