Great version. If you like this, Bob Seger’s interpretation is also worth listening to.

About 70 plus years ago I was introduced to the soul of Stan Getz. The absolute clean sound that comes from his tenor saxaphone is nothing short of music from the gods. There were few who could match his sound.

First saw Miss Lisi in the movie, "How to Murder Your Wife". Then later I saw her in the Anthony Quinn movie, "The 25th Hour". Older and still incredibly lovely.

eTRAUMKARUSSELL - 03.11.2022 Melodie: Eddy Marnay Text: Alan und Marilyn Bergmann Interpret: Noel Harrison März 1969: Oscar: Beste Filmmusik (Thomas Crown Affair) meine Übertragung ins Deutsche urheberrechtlich abklären!

What a beautiful rendition of this song. The only version I knew until now was by Neil Diamond on his 'Stones' album which is songs from other singer-songwriters. His version, surprisingly, is sung in exactly the same slow emotive style as here. Thank you for revealing this to me. Such a lovely song, song beautifully by Virna Lisi, but listen to Neil's version for comparison too. Both worth the listen.

The piano prolongs the Music through the most guarded senses. Keeper of the intimate emotions we have become. In any Theme, if it enters, it becomes the main interpreter, like a Sea that wraps us in its shroud. May it become like this in many moments in our lives. Huge interpretations!
