As always some great landscape photography as you headed west. Oklahoma may not be the most scenic state but still those wide open landscapes are wonderful to experience. We crossed the state east to west but not on such wild routes as you. We have never been to the States at Christmas. We could not help but notice the lights. They were very easily outdone by natures own light show.

Awesome adventures in a beautiful land. Those roads highlighted in the beginning were no joke! The rope assist climb looked pretty challenging as well. Fun explore along the beach and seeing the sea lions too. You must have a 4 runner there and on the mainland. Pretty cool. Great campsite, tour of the area, playing in the water, sea turtles, and all. Well done on your video! You did a fantastic job capturing the adventure. So awesome. Take care and have a great day.

@@maxdexpeditions also curious, did you ugprade the rooftop tent mounting bracket, like WEW or Sherpa mounts or keep it stock? Im worried about the stock mount in the long run

@@sbcns Yes, I upgraded the mount. Yung RTT mount ko is yung quick release RTT mount kit ng Frontrunner. It's not for everyone, your RTT sits higher and a lot more rattle compared to solid mounts. But, I like it since I use the space under the roof rack to carry a table.

IL has some good looking cliffs near the big MS river. Garden of the gods in Shawnee National Forest! Awesome sky views. the rocks smooth for climbing. Beautiful family adventure. 👍

Sounds like an incredible adventure! Oahu’s trails and beaches must be amazing to explore with family. Exploring nature and making memories with loved ones-what could be better? Thanks for sharing your journey! I love how you and your family tackle each adventure together. These are the moments that make life truly special. Kudos to your wife for being such a trooper! Even if she’s not into the hobby, it’s clear she’s all in for the family. Max is one lucky kid to have parents who introduce him to such amazing experiences. He’ll treasure these memories forever.

These all other paid KZbinr giving paid advertising for ledger I installed in my 4Runner it’s completely useless not only getting lose its ruin my lift gate shocks too I need to replaced my struts for my trunk opener coz ledger was heavy for factory installed struts no one is climbing on 4Runner roof, plus if anyone wants roof tent it comes with leder why only one needs it? I took mine off and end up having holes under my trunk now I have to close those too…it’s a selling gimmick .

@@La-huh I 100% agree. I don't miss it. Although the only purpose I can think of is to hang out trash outside but strapping it on the roof rack works too or we just double bag it and put it inside our vehicle. Other than a trash bag mount which is not a big deal I really don't see any other purpose for it.

There are some wonderful routes to take travelling across your country. So many varied landscapes. You always go the extra mile in finding those off the beaten track areas to enjoy. With the right gear wintry campsites become joyful and refreshing experiences (or at least they used to be before I became older and softer).
