I’ve the same head unit and I installed it everything works but I have no sound at all. The display works perfectly and everything. The only difference is those amp wires you have I don’t have them neither connected could that be a problem?

So I dont know if anyone gonna see that but i need help with my e36 318is, I basically had the exact same problems, I replaced the temp sensor with a brand New one but heres the thing, theres 2 of them wired togheter and I have absolutly no idea where the second one goes ive been searching for 2 weeks, so if some one here has a 318is coupe from 95 can you tell me ( excuse my bad english )

You are definitely talking shit, my N54 only left me 2 times in 4 years on the road , once waterpump, and 2 injectors. So keep your N55 mate. It's stage 2+ with full bolt on. The only thing it needs is upgraded turbos.

Thanks for the video. I installed the OEM keyless entry and alarm on my 97 318is back in 2009. I sold the car ~2015 and for nostalgia here in 2024 wanted to go back and hear the alarm sound and locks clicking open/shut. Very satisfying sound. I think I paid ~$80 for the whole kit back then (module, wiring, alarm, fob, etc.).
