Hey bro i have a question i just bought a steering rack and change it now it is stiff asf I didn’t alignment yet my mechanic says that can be the pump but my friend who sold me the car told me that he change it. Do i just an alignment? O the pump

I would definitely do both. If you’re pump is bad you’re not going to have power steering so I’d do that first then go get an alignment
