I had an idea related to skylander variants (more accurately the dark, legendary, and lightcore), maybe you can add them as superforms and have holiday themed and alt color skylanders as separate skins. Like option 1, in my view, is that when a skylander reaches low health like say below half similar to a qte like you mentioned, they enter a temporary super form ( I say temporary as to prevent them being op) and gain an increase of power, example if you're playing spyro and are on low hp you can enter his legendary or dark spyro state and become super-powered doing stuff like increase damage, speed, defense, elemental power, hp regen, ect. You can change what form they take by looking at the skylanders' character screens. These forms would only be accessible in certain places like, say, arena/boss battles, and certain challenges. Option 2 is simply to have act like a power boost like what starkiller does in the force unleashed 2 and have it at all times, both ways needing a recharge but the timeout can be shortened by defeating enemies. The reason I had this idea was because you mentioned in your blades video that the skylanders have statues that allow them to enter legendary forms (side note that can be away for skylanders to gain legendary forms via a series of arena challenges) so this can be away both lore and game play wise to fit these alternate characters into the game because technically they are the same character just with increased stats.

Something interesting you may wanna know about Snowderdash. See....the picture you have of the one that had the whip out was a custom job from FGTeeV, as when Skylanders was out, he and his family had another channel called Skylander Boy and Girl (based on the kids). The Lightcore varient existed, however The dad didn't like how ONLY the lightcore variant had a Christmas variant, so he took it upon himself to make a normal variant.

All in game variance are colour swaps that's all they are you complaining about it makes it seem like you don't know anything about skylanders (also the fact that you only sometimes complain about it confuses me a bit) (also the chase variance are also just colour swaps)

My personal explanation is that the Skylanders have to become toys to have access to the portal masters. Because Eon is dead, and the Skylanders were sent too far from Skylands, we’re the only way for Skylanders to portal wherever they need to go. The various portal accidents over the years with different teams of Skylanders resulted in dozens of them being trapped as toys in different parts of the world until SSA. What made SSA different was that a portal was caught in the explosion and sent to earth along with the SSA Skylanders. Allowing them to be sent back to fight Kaos. Once we defeated Kaos, we sold off the Skylanders to a toy company. Mass producing the toys (which is why we see the Skylanders on display in giants) to create literally millions of portal masters to keep Skylands safe. Once Kaos got there, he froze up like everyone else, but was freed once he was in close proximity to a portal for long enough. Allowing him to go back home and start the plot of Giants. And speaking of giants, the giants and likely every other special team of Skylanders were likely found by specific individuals in toy stores around the world, which is why Eon acknowledges you as “finding” these teams in each game. Because in lore, they’re not mass produced like the cores. But idk this is just a dumb headcanon cuz I was obsessed with this series as a kid :/
