Changed the ground wire from the negative side on the battery to the same spot with a thick grounding wire. headlights, lights in side of car and horn works twice as good now. Never knew how important a ground was for a car battery

Help!! My 2006cls500 was just stolen and I just got it back without any evidence of how it was stolen. Can I reprogram the current two keys to only work on my car and a Faraday pouch because now I can't lock,unlock nor set my alarm to prevent it being stolen again if this was how it was stolen in the first place. I'm nervous. Please help.

Is it true that this unit can program a key when you do not have any working Keys / chips / fobs present for the vehicle ?? I read somewhere that it could for a 2008 Land Rover lr3 and the lost Keys mode. I have a 2008 Land Rover lr3 and the key fob is completely destroyed in the immobilizer chip does not seem to be working when I use the blade with the chip next to it trying to start it. It just flashes red with the immobilizer security Dashboard Light. I'm waiting on a locksmith who is out of town this weekend that has that unit and I'm just trying to get feedback on if it should be able to program with no working key present just some unprogrammed ones.

You can do all keys lost. You just have to remove the body control module.

I think I’m having some issues with mine from what the facebook groups are saying regarding my bcm. I had a sunroof leak last year, I haven’t yet but I’m going to take mine apart and see if there is corrosion. If I can’t fix the corrosion myself I might need some help or advice with programming

I have a 2012 Silverado 1500 and the other day my Wife turned the AC on, the transmission started shuddering between 2nd and 3rd gears. The weather here has been pretty hot, so I checked my transmission temperature 180 degrees. I'm going to change the trans fluid and filter tomorrow. The owner's manual says to use Dexron VI ATF. Do you think I should use what the owner's manual suggests or something different? Any advice would be appreciated.

Soo did u use a new key fob or used one ? I had to replace the same box ECU on my Lexus LS500 2018 and used keys won't program in to it , it doesn't go through the procedure of synchronization of steering lock and smart box , always failing at that point. Soo I've just decided to order a new blank key fob and I'll try to do it one more time . By the way I was able to unlock the key by my KM100X but still nothing to do with that old keyfobs . Ones I've tried to erase all keys or reset smart box all keys has been erased except Master key which I still have on my hands , but since I've got it erased to start the car I always have to put the logo of that key fob to the start button to light off the immo . If ill just push the start button it always saying on dash ' key not detected " but still can lock/unlock the doors . Soo at this point I can definitely say ,if u had ones erase the key from smart box u can't program it back even if it's unlocked keyfob

Hey, did you sync the steering lock before backing up data and generating key or do you generate the key first, turn on the car, then sync?

You should not have to sync the steering lock. You will need to sync the ID code box.

you shoudl not need a locksmith license,,i mean we demand that car manufactures share their data with the public,,yet certain branches like locksmithing requires you to be licesnced,,,makes no sense,,anyone should be able to do it,,,dont tell me someone with criminal intent can abuse this,,,they will abuse it no matter what,,,the only one it hurts is the average person,,,who looking to save money,,,

Have you ever seen one of these modules cause drivability issus and set a P0628 fuel pump low voltage code? I've been chasing this issue for days on my daily driver that is now parked. Also, the inside and outside lights flicker while its running. Originally I thought I had a failing alternator so I replaced it. That did not fix my issue. Then I went through and cleaned all of my grounds since I live in the rust belt and the frame is crusty. Still no change... I'm sort of lost at this point and I would be grateful for any helpful suggestions. This is on a 2012 Sierra 2500HD with the 6.0 gas engine.

For pin 50 at the ECM or pin 13 at the FSCM, should the voltage reading be equal to battery voltage? I am back probing and with the key ON the voltage is around 1 Volt less than battery voltage. Truck runs but I am getting P069E current code, P069E pending code and P0231 in Freeze Frame

My sisters 2014 gen 3 prius all smart key and remote lock funtions do not work. We have to use the emergency key to unlock the door. To start the car, the key fob needs to be pressed against the start button. Key fob battery volage on both fobs is just above 3 volts. Press the buttons on the fob the fob light comes on. Key fob near or in the car does not cause the fob light to blink. Note: A remote after-market starter that had stopped working was removed. This did not fix the problem. I picked up a used Certification module off of Ebay. I also have Autel KM100 key programming tool. Is the module communication different when key fob held by the start button versus fob proximity starting? Using my Xtool D8 scanner yielded no fault codes.

@SpartanAutoworx Do you know exactly the location of the receiver box on Gen 3 Prius? It's some place on the rear passenger side of the vehicle. I suspect possible corrosion or mouse wire nibbling issues with the receiver box.

@SpartanAutoworx 0:10 I replaced the antenna module. This did not fix the problem. Scoping the signals at the antenna (receiver) module, I notice no signal on the grey DATA wire. Consulting the electrical prints I began searching for a wire harness connector. In the process I discovered under the rear passenger door sil covered, grey wire was chewed through by a mouse. Repairing this wire fixed the problem. The interesting thing is I had no fault code.
