Actually Kia will cover the cost of this part. I received a letter in Sept. of 22. How did you get the copper piece out of the orange box?

2011 kia stop during travel in middle of the street. No lights no electrical working. So i assumed needed new battery. I put new battery on and it still doing nothing no eletrical. Is it possibly this particular fuse is out ???

Is there a secret to removing the fuse from the orange casing part of the disconnect plug? I have gotten the safety disconnect part out and I have it where the fuse is accessible, but I cannot get the fuse out of it in order to even put the mega fuse in temporarily. I have watched video after video and every one of them show getting the disconnect safety service plug out and then they all skip to once the fuse is out while not showing how they got there.any help would be greatly appreciated, im sure it is probably something silly I am overlooking.

I replaced this fuse with the Hyundai version. Same part number and all. Just says Hyundai on it. Yet it didn't work. Does it have to be the Kia version?

You may have a power relay issue. I had the same issue with my 2013 Kia and Kia had to fix it for me unfortunately bc it was the power relay but what he is saying in the video as to upgrading to 150 amp part number is the correct part for Kia/Hyundai. Normally you upgrade the amp first (cheapest repair) and then if that doesn’t work then have the power relay checked out (expensive repair) at the dealership. I hope you get your car fixed soon

My will start but it gives the warning or a wrench not the engine or no battery light but it dose tell me to not drive and it loses power and it cuts off it loses power fast.
