My advice for hockey fans around the world, find and purchase the book! Minnesota North Stars, history and memories with Lou Nanne! Author of the book was former North Stars front office associate Bob Showers, chapter 2 is when Nanne offers thoughts on the team MOVING to Dallas. It's an awesome book that tells the MAIN reason WHY, the North Stars left Minnesota! Let's NEVER have THAT happen to the Wild, learn from history otherwise it's gonna repeat itself!

lol just joking no offense, but the way the narrator pronounces Zhizhi Wang's name sounds like "Gee Gee", which means the "dick" in Chinese lol

Gary Bettman killed the Nordics. He did nothing to help the franchise stay north of the border. Look at how he bent over backwards to save the Arizona Coyotes.

It doesn't always transfer. Oh wait. Canada's always pretty much won both in the last half century lol. But honestly, I looked at it in a different way in the late 90's early 2000s. Maybe just hype prior to KZbin to draw coverage in non Canadian games seeing as only tsn covered it. We had to rely on trusted experts. Like how there's always a question who goes first at the draft to up ratings. But the top player at almost every tournament was a Russian. So the same kind of minor league thought process for the big league team. They would rather have 1 or 2 absolute studs then a champion ship team of future fourth liners . If you have the best player every year, you have the better odds of having the best team when constructing a team of 15 years. That didn't turn out at all because Russia might have had the worst best on best results. I guess you can say that the Americans took their spot

I always wondered. I know Jeremy Lin didn't have an Ego and would most likely agree that this might be helpful. But having Melo and Lin play at the same time? How do ya'll think it woul've gone if Lin was the 6th guy and subbed for Melo when they he rested? You know how teams fall off when they rest starters and that's when the opposing team usually catches up? What if Lin was put into the system that way?

Melo's an HOFer, with no Finals appearance..what a joke..

Linsanity was better than Melo's stint in New York, Melo's ego got the best of him, and Lin has a ring, something Melo will never have in his lifetime..Melo has not proven anything..just a sore loser..

Melo was the problem for any team, until now """ No Rings attached to his name """ Linsanity was the most memorable moment in NBA history period .

Melo was nominee as an HOF without playing a Finals game, while Lin was at the bench and played a few minutes with the Raptors gave him something the latter never had, a ring and still plays in Taiwan to this day.

From about 91-96...Most exciting team I've ever watched. This TN kid was all about the Supersonics. They should've paid Kemp what he needed to stay. I fully believe a ring was coming. I haven't been able to get into the NBA since they got hosed to OKC. What a franchise to lose. Had history, had a good city, had killer uniforms, had a great fanbase? I mean cmon. Bring back the Supersonics. And bring them back to Seattle.
