I laughed at 1:40 when you got scared of the sax sample *Meeeeep* "Wtf that's so loud!" 😂 Great patch! Maybe it could be a little less harsh (less too end and less noise modulation / distortion) I made a Bari Sax patch simply with FM modulation. I can't remember the waveform as the base though. When I am home again, I'll share the patch details :)

Hey i know this video is old but i really like oscilloscopes and i was wondering if there would be a other way to get 3d objects onto the graph (note that i have absolutely no knowledge of any electronics nor how to even remotely use a oscilloscope)
@LoomaMusic25 күн бұрын
I don't know of any other methods than OsciStudio, but it's likely that a different method exists. Scopes just read electronic signals. Since sound is an electronic signal before its converted into wiggly air by speakers, it works pretty well!

Wait osci studio, blender and audio output right? What settings do you use for your scope? Do you have a more detailed video??

Maybe a dunb question, but how would you suggest getting into this? I'm constantly fascinated by oscilloscopes but I'm a but overwhelmed on where to start.

Good stuff. I found that the resonator technique sounded the best for me. I tried the vocodex method as well but found the sounds a bit too rich for my taste. My project was to "color" my mainly 2010-2013 era Dubstep sound designs and I made the resonator "flavor" them subtly, which was pretty succesful when considering my humble 2017-2024 of producing experience. Welp, there exists nonetheless a finished project made in 3 days thanks to you! Now, to attempt 2014-2015 drumstep...

Tried to follow along but got lost at around 3:15 because you were going pretty fast and covering up what buttons you were pushing. It might help in this type of video, at the end, to recap each Osc, Mutant, and Filter setting, etc. This is the kind of video I'm looking for to recreate all kinds of different instrument sounds, so keep up the good work!

I don't understand how a synthesizer like microfreak has the ability to add your own waveforms and this one doesn't.
