thank u very much for the lesson! I started doing another lesson, but it didn't work out as well as yours. how many cm is each thread? i'm worried that i won't have enough 150 cm for 10 hearts :(
@knoteven_
@knoteven_ Күн бұрын
Thank you for your comment! I did 200 cm for the chain part (the white string for me in the video) and 160 cm for the heart part (red string in the video) and they left a lot of left over string so 150 cm will probably work! Your chain colour should be a bit longer though, I imagine 180 cm should be good. Hope this helps!

Hey! Your tutorials are so helpful! Could you make a tutorial on the watermelon bracelet using The Bracelet Book pattern #22543, but with a stitched loop at the top? The strings are uneven, so I'm having trouble, and I haven't found any videos on it. 💗💗💗
@knoteven_
@knoteven_ 2 күн бұрын
Thank you for your comment! Usually with patterns that have an odd number of strings, I skip the loop and do a twisted end start. But a loop is still possible if the string you use to make the loop is kept short on one side. After the loop, you can hide the short end. I can make a quick video explaining this. Hope this helps!

so good to see this m trying to follow this ..but a bit complex. ..also need a tutorial on pattern 160224
@knoteven_
@knoteven_ 5 күн бұрын
Thank you for the comment! Pattern 160224 is an alpha pattern so reading its pattern would be different than reading the pattern I showed in this video (normal pattern). I haven’t made an alpha pattern tutorial, but you can search up how to follow an alpha pattern and find a relevant tutorial for now.

Can you do this with three colors?
@knoteven_
@knoteven_ Ай бұрын
I have not tried doing it with three colours before. I assume you would want the stem to be a third colour. You could possibly do it by splitting the chain part into two colours, having each side be a different colour. And in a more complex way you can add a third colour but hide it within your knots and use it in the stem only. However, the second option would require a bit more of know how.

red triangle - 0:51 first black pattern - 4:53 first green pattern - 5:58 repeated black pattern - 8:30 repeated green pattern - 8:58 white pattern - 7:05 finishing the flag - 11:22 btw if anyone wants the flags to be more straight (like the red triangle isnt curved at the top) after you finish the flag at around 11:22 then with the green/leftmost red, do a backward-forward knot, and then with the black/rightmost red, do a forward-backward knot. hope this helps!!! free palestine 🇵🇸🍉❤️

Could you please show us how to adapt this pattern for a thinner bracelet? I’m looking for a bracelet pattern that creates the red triangle then the 3 horizontal stripes across the whole width of the rest of the bracelet
@knoteven_
@knoteven_ 2 ай бұрын
It sounds like you are rotating the flag and having your red triangle face the side. In that case, you can start with black on your first row and just add 1 red at the very end of the row, then in your second row you add 2 reds and the rest would be black, etc. You have to consider how many rows your pattern will be and divide that number into thirds to see how many rows each strip will take. For example, if your whole pattern will be 9 rows, you can have 3 for black, 3 for white, and 3 for green. You also want to think of what the maximum red knots would be at the middle of your bracelet. For the case of 9 rows, for the 5th row you would make your maximum number of red knots which would be 5, then you decrease that number by 1 for all the following rows. I hope that was not too confusing and it helps!!!

Hi sis thank you so much for this beautiful tutorial 🤩🥰 can I please find out the wrist circumference this bracelet fits? I can't wait to try and make it but it's my first time making a knot bracelet I hope I can do it as you said this is intermediate level ☺️
@knoteven_
@knoteven_ 2 ай бұрын
Hello! When I make it, it ends up being around 25cm, with the watermelon and flag portion being 12cm of that. Of course you can lengthen or shorten the twisted ends to best suit your wrist size.

When you say one forward knot with one color I see you do the knot twice. Is that just to secure it or is that how a knot is ? I’m using nylon thread and I copied exactly as you did but it didn’t look right😭. And also your rind (green) is so straight but mine curves when I’m doing the forward knots. What am I doing wrong?
@knoteven_
@knoteven_ 3 ай бұрын
Yes, one knot is composed of the two parts. I wish I had a picture of what yours looks like to better help with the curving situation, it may be the string type causing a bit of a curve or how consistent you are with how tight you are pulling to make your knots. It’s not necessarily that you need to pull tight, just that you have to be consistent on the tightness you choose to use for all your knots. When making normal patterns, I always use cotton based strings, like the embroidery floss. Maybe the thickness of the nylon is making it curve. Sorry my answer was not much help but good luck!
