You could always know what your doing and buy the correct chain for the bike and you won't have to remove any links. You only have to remove links if you bought the wrong chain for the bike. The link removal just fixes the error. Don't think you need to get a link removal tool. Just buy a chain of the correct length that comes with a split link.

Are these kits no longer available? I couldn’t find one on the site.

You've GOT to lubricate the stem.

If you buy this basket for the YZ 250 two stroke just know there’s been a problem with the OEM kickstart gear (small pressed in gear) in which it dose not protrude all the way through the basket so the inner rotor can’t ride on it making both the basket and rotor spin together when they are suppose to spin independently.
