Something I noticed that made the song infinitely better and worse (/positive in every way); "How, do you tell your *best friend's friend*, it's time to say goodbye." Asriel's singing here, referring to Chara with the "friend who grew ill." But Azzy and Chara were, afaik, friends pretty much only with each other- Asriel is referring to HIMSELF as the "best friend's friend," i think. If true, I'm crying. Azzy was so in shock he couldn't even begin to process what happened, do he has to explain it as "telling your best friend's friend".

Revisiting this video again, I think this is probably my favorite lyrical Megalovania cover. It perfectly captures the trolling attitude he has during the boss fight that I feel like not a lot of lyrical versions delve into. Hits the nihilism too, but in the same casual and matter-of-fact way that his dialogue does in the fight. Really well done!
