Hey. Since it's very unlikely anyone will read this, I feel like a fool for writing this. So naturally I would make myself look even more like a fool if I wrote a whole paragraph that no one reads. You have such a good understanding of how to craft lyrics that don’t feel generic and work as a character monologue and also fit seamlessly with the melody without feeling rushed or forced. I see so many Undertale vocal covers where singers are cramming in tons of extra syllables just to create a song that sounds awkward at best. Also love the All Might reference at the end, Undyne would make a pretty good All Might, now I think about it.

Although the lyrics are not perfect I think they match the song and the entirety of the battle. You are some demon that fell from the overworld into what essentially could be described as the pits of hell by modern humans, when in reality you aren't falling into hell you're falling into a cave with all of these kind hearted monsters. And assuming that it's your first playthrough and you kill everyone you're just some megalomaniac in the eyes of... say undyne. she's the royal guard leader and she will strike you down even if she dies in the process. Taking that to heart you can see the desperation of the lyrics and also the truthfulness in her voice. I like to think that this battle wage is on for hours on end kind of like the sans battle. TLDR: good song Ori! Love your stuff!
