I am really glad you decided to "pivot" from your main channel having an uncertain future to making this type of content. This is exceptional. Reminds me of some of the history channel shows that I used to watch. Very engaging and I look forward to the next video on this location.

Love the new channel! So much fun following the journey of exploring a real world place, researching it and brainstorming adventure ideas, and then an actual write up of that adventure! That's a hell of a first month, and I'm really looking forward to your future work

This is a great adventure, with all sorts of hooks and paths to get the PCs into it. It was brilliant seeing it all come together with the work from the other episodes and site visit. This is such a great concept for the channel. Thanks.

This is incredible! And all based on a real life place and real life history. I love to weave the truth into the fiction, but this is honestly a whole new level of that. Thank you! Looking forward more and other projects!

Old places are cool, and I can't wait to see more. But lots of fun adventures like stranger things happen in arcades, malls, military bases. Would be fun to see some spins on more modern places.

This was really good. I wonder for you're future projects will you look at places other than just ruins? Would be cool to see mabey an old Bunker. Or mabey some cool sites from around the world? Like a ruined Indian Temple for example :)

I think that the ability to make the adventure approachable from many different angles is good. Often pre-written adventures don’t do that and rely on old adventurer stereotypes to force players into a particular path in a way that makes them feel forced.

I love how the grounding in reality adds such depth to the adventure, something that can be a struggle to capture when creating adventures purely from my imagination. I really like the new format, and look forward to your future explorations.

I really like how this rounded out. I am inspired to find someplace like that here and do something similar. You may have already mentioned this and I may have missed it, but software are you using to make the outline in? Also which mapping program are you utilizing? Thanks for the video and content. Looking forward to your next location!

Enjoyed the merging of elements. Looking forward to more such creations. It would be nice if you could put links to you development tools (software, websites) into your video comments. Your videos are great demonstrations of what can be done with those tools.

While I think it was sad that you had to start a new channel due to the algorithm, but I think you have reinvented yourself in a very good way. I like this series and it is a good next step for many new DMs to approach adventure making as you are showing here.

Hey! I was just curious about your decision to start new channels for this content instead of keeping it on your original one. I remember you mentioning stepping away from TTRPG channels, so I was a little surprised, but I love what you're creating! Honestly, I think both of your new channels’ content would fit really well on your original one, too. It seems like the decline in viewership may have happened when you shifted toward more Actual Play content, and maybe a separate channel for that would have helped since the algorithm didn’t categorize your channel that way. Just to be clear, this isn’t meant as criticism. I really enjoy your content and just wanted to understand the thought process behind the change. No matter what, I’m excited to keep watching and supporting your work!

In an attempt to gain fame and recognition (and a good bit of profit) the Abbot stumbles across an ancient ritual to create "Devil's Silk." By feeding silk worms the blood of the faithful they change them in a way that makes a special iridescent silk in high amounts that has become the rage of high society. He rebrands the "Devil's Silk" to "Heaven Silk" and the fame has drawn pilgrims to the abbey, a good number of which go missing only to be fed to the silk worms. The silkworms them selves live in the holy hole, the relic has been brought up to the main chapel so more people can view it in a safe location. Possible encounters: The party encounters a group of bandits that only seem interested in driving people away from the Abby rather than rob them. They are lead by a former Monk that was mummified as part of the ritual to create the devil's silk and escaped, their heart is at the center of the holy hole where the worms are fed. A famous tailor hires the party to discover the secret of the silk. While seeking shelter at the abbey the party has swarms of silk worms set upon them in their sleep. The mobs are weak enough, but they are able to wrap the sleeping party in silk while they sleep, that they have to break free from in order to not be eaten.
