No enough legroom..too close seat to driver's seat...uncomfortable seat for the passenger...the secret of a vehicle is not the infosystem featured, but the leg room that a passenger can relax and extend his legs especially in a long ride and the back rest is slightly inclined..not straight up position..don't prioritized baggage room...it's not a cargo vehicle...just put a roof cargo rail..

The large tire I installed is 43x15x17lt tire, Mickey Thomson Baja Pro; And the axle I replaced, the current axle is dana60. I have also changed the gear ratio of the car code, but I feel very shaky while driving. May I ask where the problem is? I hope you can help me answer my questions. Thank you very much

This is a clear example of marketing overshadowing engineering. Just stop and think for a moment: a BMW engine, suspension, etc., in an off-road car... Seriously? This car has just hit the market without undergoing any real tests, gathering practical and genuine feedback, and, most importantly, without the professional opinions of independent mechanics and engineers from auto workshops. In this metrosexual world, it’s all too easy to bribe someone with fake jewelry... I have personally tested this car and have thoroughly checked everything available both online and offline about this newly launched vehicle. Why did I do this? Because I was considering buying it. I even received a substantial discount of more than 10% from a local dealer. What happened next?... So, at this point, I am opting for a Toyota LC 79 series. I have confidence in this time-tested legend, not in a heavily marketed concoction of glass, BMW, and nonsense. If I need a luxury car, I would opt for a Mercedes or Lexus; for an off-road vehicle, I'd choose a Landcruiser... Who is this new model for? Time will tell. As of now, this car seems suited for those willing to risk or even just waste an additional $100k+.

This doesn't have BMW suspension! It has Eibach suspension. They seem to know what they are doing. You did a piss-poor job on your homework. This is essentially a lightly redesigned G-Professional. Made to look Defender-ish. Designed by Magna-Steyr, same as G. Over built in a modern Mercedes factory which was designed for future Mercedes G and other utes. Uses the BMW engine & trans because they are superior to G-Professional drivetrain and had history in Africa in Defenders. This also separates it from G-wagon. Good luck running two tracks or sand in that 4 cylinder 70 series with the messed up back axle.

@@fabulousoffroaddesigns5080 Wow, wow, wow, let’s calm down. ‘Similar to’ doesn’t mean ‘the same.’ Also, it’s not fair to compare products that have been tested for decades with a newly established brand. I’ve shared my clear opinion about the over-advertised car and how it actually performs in reality. We can revisit this discussion in 5 years, and with my extensive experience with BMW, I’m quite certain that this engine is not the best option, especially for off-road vehicles. Furthermore, your message contains many words appealing to famous brands. Mate, it’s a cheap trick to manipulate public opinion by justifying something because it’s respected by many. An automatic gearbox on a serious off-road vehicle, really? Are you sure about that? What about its peculiar steering, lack of storage, small fuel tank, gauges in the center of the dashboard, and many more issues? Ha-ha-ha, nice try ;) By the way, I’ve got a V8 manual version with corrected rear axle tracking; there’s a cheap and legal solution for it. But the most significant point is that you can build and customize the Landcruiser 70 series to your liking and needs. I hope this helps you understand that building a Haval at a Mercedes-Benz factory doesn’t turn it into a Mercedes-Benz.

@australia-ukraine well for starters the 70-Series is the most over priced, under engineered ancient half finished utility vehicle still being sold. Secondly manuals are for amitures. Turbo engines suck with manuals because you lose boost every shift. That is why a 4 cyl Auto beats a V8 manual at everything. You also lose driveline strength at the clutch and first gear. All professional off road vehicles use automatics. Everything from side-by-sides to military trucks to racers. Everyone posing on Instagram loves to show they can drive a manual, but when your life or bank account depends on it you better be driving an auto. Now you need to learn that 2+2=4. Grenadier and G-professional; -both start with G -are both engineered by Magna Steyr. -both use the same steering box design and had the same numb onroad feel that auto journalists hated. -are/were both built by Mercedes employees -both on plant lines designed & contracted by Mercedes. -both the Defender and G-professional were being replaced by modern IFS trucks. -Sir Jim offered on both the Defender production plant and a Mercedes production plant. He bought the Mercedes one. -the G-professional plant ceased production a year prior to the Grenadier plant produced its first Grenadier. Clue in man. You don't line up all that stuff, that quickly if some of it isn't already operational. CONCLUSION: the Grenadier is a mid cycle refreshed and Brit styleized G-professional that has the military and civilian SFA markets all to itself.

So, here's my story: I once owned a VDJ76, bought it for a cool $75k, and guess what? After 7 years, I sold it for an even cooler $83k. Talk about a good deal! It's like the universe was giving me a pat on the back for my savvy investment. Now, let's talk Mercedes-Benz. I've had seven of them, a favorite brand of mine. But it's been a mixed bag. Some models were a dream, while others were nothing short of a nightmare. And how did I come to realize this? Not just from driving them, but from what I saw and heard in workshops and authorized services. That's where the glossy ads meet gritty reality, and let me tell you, they often don't align. All these Mercedes, designed and assembled in the same factory by the same engineers and workers, yet the outcomes were so wildly different. It's like they were playing automotive roulette. I'm not a Toyota fanboy; I'm a fan of the truth and independent expertise. Salespeople and marketing? Can't stand them. They're like magicians, but instead of pulling rabbits out of hats, they pull deceptions out of thin air. Now, about your statement on automatic gear dominating off-road - let's just say I'm not buying it. As someone with an engineering degree, extensive professional driving skills, and a wealth of off-road experience, I find that claim laughable. Ever tried a push start with an automatic? Or swinging your car out of a mud pit? And let's talk durability and serviceability. The notion that automatics are simpler and more durable than manuals is like saying a paper plane is better than a Boeing. And both starting with "G"? Grenadier and G-professional? That's your argument? It's like saying all great things start with 'G'. It's a stretch, to say the least. Honestly, comments like that do more harm than good for the Grenadier. Now, about the Grenadier and the overpriced Toyota 70 series. I had to wait over two years for the 70 series, and for others, there's no chance to order at all. Meanwhile, I'm getting discount offers from the local Grenadier dealer. What's up with that? Are people with $100K+ to burn just not seeing the full picture, or is there something else at play? Let's let time be the judge. Don't try to mask reality with respected names and brands. In 5 years, we'll see if the Grenadier stands the test of time. True, independent professional feedback and the market will tell us all we need to know. Sometimes, silence really is golden.@@fabulousoffroaddesigns5080

@@australia-ukraine your original statement that it has BMW suspension tells me you are Full of $#!+ and know nothing! You are obviously no engineer, and mistaking recent automotive markets with Toyota quality is even worse. You are more likely to be a Russian bot. Somebody planting misinformation while shorting their stock. Every new vehicle manufacturer has discounts now. My local Ford dealer has $17,000 off F-150 Lightnings. That doesn't mean they are going out of business. That is just the market today. Tell me the last time you push started a vehicle with a dual battery system that is capable of boosting itself? Then list me a dozen military vehicles still built with manual transmissions. Then show me pictures of the last time you blew a clutch in an automatic!

@@fabulousoffroaddesigns5080 You can sell this fairy tale to people with no engineering knowledge or practical off-road skills. You cannot simply ‘redesign’ something and automatically label it as the best. Determining whether something is good or bad on the road requires years and millions of miles of testing. Let’s stop misleading people. This car might be considered good if, in at least five years, it receives positive reviews from independent mechanics and engineers, not just its makers or ‘happy’ owners. Let’s let time be the judge. I’ll apologize and even consider buying a Grenadier if it survives the next five years and earns a solid reputation. Right now, your words are just empty promises, and they hold no value, especially when the car is priced over $100k. I don’t recommend anyone take a risk with this car.

guys knows zero about cars. off-road vehicles are not supposed to be stiff. That's why they are not in monocoque chassis but are, instead, body on frame designs. They are supposed to flex so that, under extreme articulation, doors won't bend and windows won't shatter. he's just saying stuff because someone else said it about street cars.

Besides all that you’ve mentioned, there are aspects that disqualify it as a serious off-road car: a small fuel tank, an unreliable BMW engine, low clearance, a huge turning circle, an automatic gearbox (with no ability for a push start), weird, unnatural steering, gauges in the center of the dashboard styled like an iPad (is this really reliable?), and not much storage room. I have a longer list of reasons why this over-advertised British Haval turned me off.

It was a nice brief presentation of it, I’ve been following the grenadier since they first were talking about them. Mine is supposed to come in around April-ish next year. I just haven’t heard the best stories from the early buyers in the UK and such, it’s been mixed to say the least. When I went in to put my hands on, it’s ok. I currently have a Lexus GX460, from time to time I pull a small utility trailer, from time to time I do some mild off roading and from time to time I drive on muddy unpaved roads and snow. My GX460 does great, my old 2003 GX470 always did great. I’m a little hesitant because I’ve had BMW products and they aren’t always super reliable, this ineos has an electric power steering pump, it has a fully electric shifter lever, it has fully electric door locks, I mean that you can’t even push on anything manually to lock or unlock a specific door so if a back door is unlocked and the electrics fail you can’t re-secure the back seat doors. On my Lexus if the battery goes flat I can just open the door, flick the lock and then close the door and it’s locked. The grenadier doesn’t even have the little nipples on the door cards for locks either. So an electronic only shifter, electronic lockers, electric door locks, electric power mirrors, no gauge cluster, electric power steering pump, and BMW components, it seems like it may not be extremely reliable at least in my opinion.
