The ending for this has made me feel something that no other flight sim has ever managed--despair. It feels like this type of story so rarely acknowledges the fact that for every victory, there is an equal or worse defeat on the other side. Rarely do you get to see the missiles heading into hostile territory as opposed to only their impact, the near silent limbo before the storm, and the quiet ambiance as a prelude to the worst ending possible. You almost never see the consequences of you tipping the scales, the overconfidence of a few soldiers getting a dozen thousand civilians killed, all on your behalf. It doesn't have to be the most realistic story, or the most coherent, but holy shit, this ending hits like a truck.

Just played this on PC, this tunnel gave me a run for my money, crashed 3 times but the satisfaction of seeing everything pop up in the end. Oh my god it's like breaking open a pinata and seeing all the treats on the floor, ripe for the picking!

How can one Not see how better this looks than ace7 !? It’s the photorealistic visuals But also how everything moves/ the movements of the planes and POV Cam are crisp yet smooth ! The devs of 6 really understood how to make the jets Minute movements seem Like the Real thing ! Also with all those features together makes Ace6 arguably Still one of the best looking Games Today ! Which I guess the devs for 7 and infinity And Assault Did Not understand the assignment
