Another great hunt Todd. From a place that doesn't have alot of history as we know of. An you came up with alot of relics to tell some of the past occupants. Congrats on all your finds Todd. Another place i would come back to when i had the time. A friend of mine was detecting a field he had been detecting for well over 20 years, an thought he had found everything to be found in the field. An not long ago he was out detecting the field once more. Not expecting to find much of anything. An right before leaving he dug one last tone. An WOW !! It was a GOLD ROMAN coin. That dated from around 107 a.d.. He says the value of it was around 6-8000.00 dollars. We just never know what's waiting to be found no matter where we are detecting. Great video Todd. Have an amazing week my friend an lots of luck on your next adventure. 😁👍👍

You know I would love for a chance to find a gold coin but never have. Any site has the potential for a great find like that no matter how old. This site was a complete unknown to me but the find tells the story....a Soldier lived here who served our nation.

Todd, I needed one of your videos, the weather here in Ferndale ,WA has turned windy and rainy. You always make me feel like the sun is shining, maybe that's too much, but it isn't far off:) Cheers, Rik Spector

Hey Rik Washington State is one of 4 states I have never been too. My wife says if I were to visit, I would want to move there given my love for nature. I have to tell you sir, this video is likely my last video for a while, and maybe a long time. I have a couple of more I'm undecided on, but I find I have less and less time to devote to this hobby and channel that I did in the past 4 years. You have been a fantastic fan to this channel and I pray that your life is blessed.

Cool finds. How did your area do during the storm. I didn't lose power even. Wifi is iffy but I'm not worrying about that. Take care stay safe and keep hinting for the bag of Spanish gold.
@AppalachianHistoryDetectives21 сағат бұрын
Hey Gay, we weathered the storm well (I live on a mountain top), but we got lots of rain and wind. In 2 storms our drought went out the window. The hilly country was devastated though by the amount of rain. We got 9.5 inches in one day....and nearly 18 inches over a 2 day span.

Hey Kenny good to hear from you buddy. I've been drawing down my channel and this may be my last video for a while, maybe even a long time. I have a couple of more that I'm undecided on whether to upload or just end it but I'm wanting to spend more time and energy with my family and kids as they are in their teens and my time with them is precious.

As a geologist that view from the cliffs on Cave Mountain down into the canyon is one of the most spectacular anywhere! Very rarely can you stand in the middle of a complex geologic structure and see most of the rocks. There used to be a route up the backside, but on private property and that was in the 70s. As I recall it was a farmer named Puffenbarger, who we got permission from.
