I am disappointed that the mother appears to be making such an issue of the family's skin colour and the supposed whiteness of the traditional classical music world. There have been a myriad of non white musicians involved in music- making worldwide for the past 50 years. The fact that this family's talents have been embraced and lauded and championed by UK audiences and organisations is testament to the fact that music making is colour blind and that what matters above all is the talent of which this very middle class British family clearly possesses.

Very interesting video. I love England and its people, but they’re a bit ignorant about their history, that’s for sure.

I was recently at the old butcher shop & unfortunately I didn't see the plaque & the bus stop didn't have Herbert's story, his picture nor his name on it. All this brilliant work by Robert & the others might now be fading away & that would be a real tragedy. The Club, us fans MUST make sure Herbert's name & story are never forgotten & to make sure his old house is maintained as a shrine. Thank you Robert, Luigi, Pierangelo, Enrico & the team at LeftLion for all you have done, did & continue to do . Forza Milan Sempre ❤🖤. ps the pub is excellent 👌

Understand where you're coming from , regarding tweets etc.. Gives keyboard warriors the chance to be a heroes by not wearing a cape ( not!) However we are losing our identity , which I am proud of and so should any European as before long, Europe won't be known unless we have the right people in power , not self sufficient so-called ankers

You pray closest to where evil is being carried out. You also defend evil by wishing those who pray to end it could be as far away as possible. You colour your hair pink and green because you are a dreary, colourless moron on the inside who mouths unscientific crap thought up by university-educated Marxists who never wanted to learn anything worth learning in the first place.

So Richard Whitehead has been critical of NHS Prosthetics for not spending enough on artificial limbs so that he can run faster and win more medals, hence lining his pockets. He needs to appreciate his ability to run and win medals does NOTHING for the UK as a whole, he is deluded in believing what he does, actually makes a difference to the majority of those paying for the prosthetic department in the NHS. His rant is self-serving, nothing more nothing less. He should be grateful that his prosthetics were supplied, as many folks struggle to see a doctor, but then again they're not deluded in thinking they more worthy of investment. Let us be honest, once he has ended his athletic career he will disappear from the public eye as the only time he is current 'in vogue' is during the Paralympics.

Wonderful! Looking forward to seeing Sheku at SF Symphony and to taking my school children to the open rehearsal. It is so important for my kiddos to see themselves on that stage, in this formal setting and know their are no boundaries for them in achieving their goals lest they are self-imposed. Kudos to this family. What an inspiration!

I heard a song on Radio 1 years ago, was a rap song that had a chorus that went 'N.O.T T.I.N.G H-A-M'. Was around the time Stereo MC's were big, but I checked out all the stuff on them on KZbin at no avail - and after all those years, it's still an earworm - can any Nottinghamians help me??? Ta ducks.

I think the issue with the UK's "patriotism" is that it is more often than not, a veneer for discrimination and hatred towards minorities; immigrants in particular. The UK has had a split personality for decades as the reality that much of this country's history and status is built on colonisation and more recently the backbone which is our migrant population. There's a pride in being British that we should have but more often than not, that's not the driving force behind patriots in this country's dialogue.
