Can you explain a bit more about why you chose certain parts of the bread board? Sorry if this is dumb I’m new. Also does more ir lights mean longer range?
@TheAussieRepairGuy5 күн бұрын
I chose parts of the breadboard because that was the most convenient way to get the connections I needed. more lights doesn't always mean more range, but it means wider dispersion. when I want to spam out power off codes, I want to get every TV in the room. The pin headers are all connected to different GPIO and power pins, you need to connect the right thing to the right pin, you can't just hook it up to any old pin and make it work.

@TheAussieRepairGuy7 күн бұрын
Generally a bad idea. many of the cheap inverters do a similar thing, with a large bank of FET's, they tend to suffer what's called a "cascade failure", where one will die due to the tolerances being a tiny bit different between it and the others, and then that increased the load on the others, and they just start popping like popcorn. The allowable variance on these when made properly is 10%, in my experience it's often more than that.

Could you or somebody please explain the difference in detail to me what the difference is between rev match down shifting and double clutch rev match down shifting to me. I noticed in my 2006 4.3 silverado when I go to downshift with the clutch pedal pushed in and I blip the throttle, I don't notice much of a difference whether I blip the throttle with the clutch pedal pushed in or out in that situation when downshifting except when I try to do that with first gear. First gear I can only rev match downshift when I double clutch by putting into neutral, releasing the clutch pedal, blipping the throttle, and then pushing the clutch pedal down again and slipping it into 1st gear. When I try to do the same without disengaging the clutch pedal, I can't get a smooth shift and grind 1st gear, none of the other gears I have a problem with this. Could somebody please explain the exact logistics to me why this happens?
@TheAussieRepairGuy15 күн бұрын
rev matching, is where you match engine and gearbox speed, and slip it into gear without the clutch - it takes skill. (video at the bottom). if you blip the throttle with the clutch in, it won't help. double clutching, is where you lift the clutch between gears, this lets the clutch plate and pressure plate touch, and spins them up to the same/similar speed. if synchros are worn, or in my case there is just a big step between gears, it will slip into gear much better. down-shifting, let the clutch out between gears, blip the throttle, push the clutch back in, select the gear, and let clutch out again. this will spin up the clutch to a faster speed, and help you get it into gear. rev matching example (no clutch used) kzbin.info4tAtXPOvqOc
