I played this game for the first time in 2012, when I was 14. It had such a big impact on me. I still remember going to help the Rakyat ambush Hoyt’s mercs while on the phone to Daisy, and Jason hangs up on her stating “She wouldn’t understand”. And I immediately agreed with him; no she wouldn’t get that I have to kill these men. Before I suddenly realised- hold on, she’s the rational one. Why the hell am I so focused on killing people, instead of escaping on her boat? I’m literally agreeing with an insane man. I always respected FC3 for immersing me so much into Brody that I was able to see from his flawed viewpoint, and I still credit it for getting me into a creative writing degree. That being said, this song had such an impact on my upbringing. Especially this cover. I found it in 2015, and I had that downloaded onto my phone and listened to it almost every day. Fuck I remember when I chose Vaas for my Drama class monologue in 2015; I listened to this cover to get me pumped up. I scored the third highest in the class, which I was so happy with considering I only took up Drama that year, and everyone else had two years of classes on me. Thank you so much for the memories and inspiration.
