Yeah the people who said "why? " or "that was stupid". So you would let your kid die getting slash in half by a beast? And "patience" they drove to an empty tank of gas, so drove hours maybe a day around?

I always thought it would have been better to just Mame him instead of kill him . He could have just horribly crippled him before anybody could stop it and told John Doe that it was only so he couldn't hurt anyone else not because he was angry.

Alot of people dont know that death eaters cant produce a patronus because it requires strong postive emotion since snape was a death eater he originally didnt have his own patronus because lillys patronus was a doe his deep love for her allowed him to produce her patronus he loves harry because of his mother but because he looks so much like his father he resented harry until he would look into harrys eyes and saw lilly it was a love hate relationship

I always say it, Liam Neeson, Ben Kinsley and Ralph Fiennes deserved the Oscar. Masterful performances, although none of them won an Oscar. Tom Hanks and Joe Pesci won, other superb actors, but this film has to be planned so that everyone can watch it at some point and next to the television. a photo of these 3 actors together with the great Steven Spielberg, a masterpiece.

I saw this movie in theaters with my dad when I was 17. My dad had read the novella. It was a great memory watching this with him. You should've heard the theater when this happened. It was a mixture of silence, crying, and sniffling.... It was a once in a lifetime experience. Absolutely brilliant.

I miss Kevin Spacey. That guy could act! I'm so pissed his career was destroyed by slander and defamation, non of which held up in court. We'll miss a lot of great movies he'll never get to make now.

Some people misinterpret snapes love for lily as care for Harry he never cared about Harry he asked Voldemort to spare lily and just kill James and Harry. Snape was the one who told Voldemort of the prophecy that lead him to kill the potters. Not knowing what he’d done until it was almost too late. Not confident his master would spare her he asked the same thing of dumbledore who was disgusted he’d sacrifice a man and a baby for lily. He then adjusted the request to include James and Harry in exchange he’d help dumbledore fight Voldemort. The reason he was upset at dumbledore for the reveal wasn’t because he grew to care for Harry but he felt betrayed by dumbledore. After giving over 15 years of his life to protecting the boy of the woman he loved as penance for him being the cause of her death, vowing to keep Harry alive FOR HER only to then be told by dumbledore that it was all for nothing that he was going to have to die anyways. He most definitely hated Harry he’d see the same look of hatred James had for him through the eyes of the only woman he ever loved when he’d look at Harry which was adding salt to the wound. If the prophecy had been directed towards Neville snape never would’ve turned and would’ve remained loyal to Voldemort

I always hated how young Patunia was shown here. That she always hatted Lily once she showed magical power. It keeps her a very one dimentional character. At least in the books we can see the girls actually caring for each other before lily leaves, and why Patunia grew to dislike her sister.
