ENJOLRAS CARRIEDDDDD

Of all the incredible Eponine's that have graced the stage, Nikki was such a poor choice, in my honest opinion. I saw her in a USA tour in the role, and she was the clear weak link in an otherwise superb cast.

My God! This is so fantastic. Every cast bring something new. I ignored the initial lukewam reviews to see it at the Barbican in London when it first opened. I took my girlfriend to see it the next week. It was almost a test. If she did not love it the same as me then we should not be together. An interesting program could be made about why such an obvious smash could have been accused of having weak songs.

It maybe wrong, but I judge an entire cast by how much Enjolras makes me want to overthrow a monarchy. This guy gets it done.

Ramin Karimloo can do anything. Nikki M James has a very nice voice. DAMN this guy playing Enjolras has such a mighty voice. You can hear him over the entire rest of the ensemble.

Ramin's perfect "One Day More held note", Keala Settle existing (but also sitting and pulling out a chicken leg?), the "do i dare" from Kyle from Smash (also him walking like a plastic Ken doll at 3:53, and a wild Gaten from Stranger Things appearing right at the end to punch the air a little too early on the final note... Perfection. Utter perfection.

this cast is so underrated. i can compare this with the 25th anniversary. hell, i think better. it’s just the eponine. she sounds odd in a lot of songs, it seemed like on my own was the only good song from her.
