Really depends on the person, you're either a ''a'' person or a ''e'' person. Personally, the ''e'' is SO much easier to sing since it is always placed perfectly because of the way the vowel is shaped.

In case anyone is wondering why this is the case, it's because the "ae" vowel lifts your soft palate inside your mouth and drops your jaw more than the "ee" vowel, making more room for the sound to resonate! It's called "vowel modification", and anytime you're having difficulty getting good tone or pitch on a particular note (usually high ones), try slightly modifying the vowel you're singing. It might just do the trick!
