What a find! Who are/were the Vice Creems? As a kid who listened to the first Clash album, I could never understand the words Joe sang! It sounded like noise to me and the band definitely sounded like they were from the garage. I loved it. And still the only band that mattered!

Duffy and Steve Jones are the best lead guitarists of their generation. Billy's Gretch tone so unique and Jonesy's Les Paul God tier. Love and Sonic Temple are The Cult's finest records.

What a great reminder of just how much this man was a great performer. I so miss and Love Joe Strummer. But I will always remember his impact on my life. Thank you so much Joe, what a great man you were and still are.

It's funny how their detractors completely miss the point. Calling them mock rock Stones wannabe's is exactly how people reacted to the Stones in the early 60s. The Stones were too loud, sloppy, no feel, etc were the same things levied at the Dolls. Yet look at the influence both of them had on popular music. I guess the Stones were acceptable at this time period in the early 70s. Their sloppiness was okay.
